Football BTTS Acca Tips: Saturday's best both teams to score plays

Another full card of fixtures beckons this weekend in the EFL and Premier League and we’re back with our best both teams to score fancies. Combined into an accumulator the selections pay around 9/1 with bet365 and thanks to their soccer accumulator bonus, they will add 10% to our winnings, should all teams find the back of the net. Best of luck to anyone following the football tips on BettingOdds.com this Saturday; all of these games involved here, kick off at 3pm.
- Newcastle v Southampton - 3/4
- Stoke v Reading - 1/1
- Doncaster v Oxford United - 7/10
- Rochdale v Charlton - 4/6
Newcastle v Southampton
Both of these two sides were beaten in their Premier League midweek fixtures, however one will feel slightly more hard done by than the other. Newcastle can class themselves unlucky in their 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace after accumulating an xG figure of 2.43 in comparison to that of 0.76 by Palace.
Newcastle have been much better going forward in their last three matches, posting a combined xG total of 5.75. In their three previous games they totalled just 1.9 xG which shows the improvement from Steve Bruce’s team in the final third.
After their second 9-0 defeat in consecutive seasons, Southampton will be looking to bounce back immediately, however that may not be so simple with an injury riddled squad. I still believe that Ralph Hassenhuttl’s style of play has the ability to cause Newcastle serious problems and you do not become a bad team over night. With Ings and Adams up front, and Newcastle’s newfound willingness to attack in mind, I’m quietly confident that both teams will get on the scoresheet in the North East.
Stoke v Reading
Michael O’Neil’s Stoke find themselves in tenth place in the league which does seem rather flattering when you consider the Potters have won just one of their last 11 league games. Seven of those eleven matches have ended in a draw, however both teams to score has landed in all four of their most recent games and in 62% of their home games this campaign.
Reading have enjoyed a superb first half of the season and will have their eyes set on a play-off place come May. 62% of the Royals’ away fixtures have had both teams score this season and with this one currently priced at evens I think we could be leaning towards a value selection.
Doncaster Rovers v Oxford United
Doncaster currently find themselves third in League One, just three points behind first place Hull. Darren Moore has managed to mastermind victories in eight of the last nine for Rovers and this looks the pick of the ties from this division on Saturday with the visitors also being in great form.
Oxford have won their last seven league matches and are a side massively on the up. Karl Robinson has been really getting a tune out of his side lately with United scoring 12 goals in their last three on the road. 67% of Doncaster’s home games this term have included BTTS, with 58% of Oxford’s away ties also having this occur. With two in-form sides who have been free-scoring of late I’m hopeful of a thriller in South Yorkshire.
Rochdale v Charlton
It’s fair to say that Rochdale games certainly haven’t been dull over recent weeks. There have been an incredible 50 goals scored over Dale’s last ten matches, a staggering five per game in average. Both teams to score has landed in eight of Rochdale’s last ten games and they face Charlton on Saturday who have struggled for consistency over the last month or two.
The Addicks have not won back-to-back league games since the first week of November but still find themselves level on points with sixth place Sunderland. Charlton have found the back of the net in 11 of their last 12 league away games and it’s hard to not see that happening again with Rochdale having shipped 14 goals in their last four at Spotland Stadium.
Good luck to anyone on board with these selections and please always gamble responsibly.
