Football BTTS Acca Tips: 16/1 five-for Saturday's 3pm kick-offs

We managed to land an 8/1 four-fold with our weekly series highlighting the best teams for both teams to score last Saturday and @AnthonyEadson is back with five games where he thinks we will see the net bulge numerous times this weekend.
Praise the Lord, there is now no International break until March with both the Premier League and EFL returning this weekend with a full slate of fixtures. The five games I’ve picked out this week all start at 3pm on Saturday so you can set up camp for the afternoon and settle down and watch the scores come in with what will hopefully be a winner from these tips.
The accumulator currently pays best with bet365 who are offering 16/1 on all ten sides to find the scoresheet. However with bet365’s accumulator bonus which gives an extra 12% on winnings for a five-fold, the bet will pay just over 18/1 should it land.
Six of the eight Saturday 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League this season have seen both teams to score and I’m hoping that trend becomes seven in nine this weekend with Aston Villa hosting Brighton.
Dean Smith’s side sit just three points off the top of the table with a game in hand going into the clash against Brighton. It’s been a positive start to the season for Villa with five victories from seven games including wins over Liverpool, Arsenal and Leicester. Only Chelsea and Spurs have scored more goals than Aston Villa in the league this campaign and I fancy them to bag a couple against Brighton.
The Seagulls are winless in their last seven games in all competitions and have kept just one clean in the process. There is plenty of hope for Graham Potter’s side though, as despite sitting 16th in the table, they actually are performing very well in plenty of key metrics. Brighton’s expected position in the league based on xG (expected goals) performance is actually fifth and everything points to them finishing higher than their current position. The numbers become even more staggering when you see that Brighton actually rank higher than Manchester for xG this season sitting ninth with City tenth.
Dropping down into the Championship and I’ve opted for both teams to score at Deepdale, where Preston North End take on Sheffield Wednesday. Prior to the last round of fixtures, Preston had won every game on the road this season but came unstuck to a hard working Rotherham side. I’m going against the grain here as Preston have failed to score in four of their last five home league matches but I think manager Alex Neil will put added emphasis on finding the back of the net for that very reason.
Sheffield Wednesday have also been disappointing in front of goal at times this season but I’m backing them to have somewhat of a new manager bounce after Friday 13th gave us the return of Tony Pulis to management. The fresh positivity in the changing room could make both teams to score an attractive play come 5pm with it being offered at around 10/11.
The first of two games I’ve selected from League One is Burton v Northampton. The Brewers currently have the best both teams to score percentage in the division with it landing in 75% of their games in the 2020/21 season. Both sides are struggling in the bottom third of the table and with Northampton bagging three goals in their last league outing on the road at Wigan they should have nothing to fear in travelling up the M1 for this game.
Sunderland travel to the Keepmoat stadium to take on Doncaster on Saturday and with both teams to score landing in 80% of the home sides league matches so far this season, I’m happy to have this game onside. The visitors are unbeaten away from home during this campaign and have also scored two goals in 80% of those matches.
Rounding off this 16/1 5-fold is trip up to the incredibly windy Barrow-in-Furness where David Dunn’s side take on Forest Green Rovers. 83% of Barrow’s home league games have seen both teams find the back of the net this season and I think that’s got a great chance of rising again on Saturday. Forest Green sit fifth in the table and have scored in all five of their previous league games. Mark Cooper’s side have been ticking along nicely and will fancy themselves against newly promoted Barrow.
