Football Accumulator Tips
There is a load of midweek UK football on Tuesday evening and we've asked our acca statto @OddsTerrier to scour the formbook. He's picked out a tasty four-fold for your pleasure. It pays a little over 6/1 with app based sportsbook SBK. You can sign up for a £40 free bet using the link above.
Crystal Palace to beat Stoke - 10/17
There is a full match preview for this FA Cup tie on Betting Odds with team news and tips but I'm also including Palace in my acca here. Palace will be targeting this as a competition that they can go all the way in. They lost in the final back in 2016, where they were beaten in extra time by Man Utd and Patrick Vieira knows realistically this is their only chance for silverware and a chance to potentially qualify for European football next term. The Eagles will likely ring the changes for this clash but it should still be a strong enough team to unsettle Stoke. City are in a poor run of form, winning just two of their last twelve in the Championship, which has seen them drop from the heady heights of 4th and a genuine automatic promotion push, all the way down to 15th.
I'm backing Palace to win this one comfortably.
Sheffield Wednesday to beat Burton - 4/6
Wednesday are in a cracking run of form, winning seven of their last nine, losing only to Rotherham, who are top, and 4th placed Oxford. Part of their success comes down to their defence in recent games. They conceded only one goal in their last six wins and are averaging only 0.75 goals conceded per game over the course of the season.
Burton are extremely inconsistent, winning just one of their last seven, and lost 2-0 to Wednesday at home, less than a month ago.
Rotherham to beat Shrewsbury - 4/5
Top placed Rotherham are having a fantastic season, winning 23 out of a possible 34 games and losing only five times. They've kept clean sheets in 56% of their games and are extremely hard to break down. They have won half of their games to nil and yet this hasn't affected their attacking prowess - scoring an average of 2.18 goals per game. United are unbeaten in nine and have won eight of those.
The Shrews are down in 17th and while their results are picking up, they've only won one of their last nine. This looks an easy win for The Millers.
Wigan to beat Fleetwood - 4/7
Lastly we've got another League One clash between 2nd placed Wigan and 19th placed Fleetwood. The Latics have games in hand on most of the other playoff teams and will want to keep winning to keep the pressure on Rotherham. Leam Richardson's men have lost just twice in their last 18 games, against Sheff Weds and disappointly last time out, 3-0 at home to Sunderland. They will be adamant to prove that was merely a blip in their automatic promotion campaign.
The Cod Army are in a poor run of form, winless in seven, but five of those have been draws. They would certainly take another draw tonight but I think Wigan will be too strong for them and take the three points.
If you like the look of this acca then good luck and remember to gamble responsibly.
