Thursday Acca Tips
Diogo Jota to Score Anytime vs Atalanta
Liverpool have left themselves with an almost impossible task of having to overturn a three goal margin after their shock 3-0 defeat to Atalanta at Anfield seven days ago. It’s been three games without a win for The Reds, however we expect them to throw the kitchen sink at the Italian outfit as they look to pull off a memorable comeback, just like they have in yesteryear.
Many of Liverpool’s failures in recent weeks have been due to their sub-par finishing but the return to the starting XI of Diogo Jota should be welcome on Thursday. In our opinion, he is the best finisher at the club and his goals per 90 ratio of 0.75 in the Premier League goes a long way to proving that point. Liverpool will be on the front-foot from the off and we are kicking off our 24/1 punt with Jota finding the net.
Florian Wirtz to Score Anytime vs West Ham
Leverkusen secured their first ever Bundesliga title at the weekend sparking ecstatic scenes as their fans invaded the pitch at full time of their 5-0 demolition of Werder Bremen. The Germans hold a 2-0 lead after the first leg, and with West Ham without their best player Lucas Paqueta due to suspension, we think Leverkusen can find the net on several occasions.
Florian Wirtz has been one of the stand out performers for Xabi Alonso’s side this season and domestically he has racked up 11 goals and 10 assists. That’s as many goals as any other Leverkusen player in the league this season and with three strikes also to his name in Europe, he makes plenty of appeal to find the net who have failed to shut out their opponents in their last six matches across all formats.
Pablo Dybala to Score vs AC Milan
Rounding off our trio of goalscorers on Thursday is Pablo Dybala. In an all italian affair, Roma take on AC Milan in the Italian capital and it was Dybala who provided the assist for the only goal of the game last week as Gianluca Mancini gave Roma a 1-0 advantage.
Dybala has only started 21 league games this season in Serie A, but has a healthy goal average of over 1 in 2, with 12 to his name. Playing against AC Milan can often bring out the best of the Argentine who has eight goals against them in his career. Seven of those eight goals have arrived in home matches and combining him with Jota and Wirtz pays 24/1 with BetMGM.
