Newcastle vs Fulham - Nick Woltemade To Score
What a season Nick Woltemade is having. The striker has hit the ground running at Newcastle, where he’s quickly become a fan favourite.
With four goals in his first five league matches, he’s already joined a select group of Toon players to reach 4+ goals in five games.
He’s found the net in each of his last three outings and will be confident of extending that streak against a Fulham side struggling defensively. The Cottagers have conceded seven goals in their last three games, all of which ended in defeat, while they’ve managed just one clean sheet in eight games so far this season.
Hull vs Charlton - Over 2.5 Goals
Two Championship sides showing early-season promise meet on Saturday in what looks set to be an entertaining clash. Charlton sit 5th after an impressive 3-0 away win at Ipswich, while Hull are just behind them in 7th, level on points, and riding high on a three-match winning streak, which includes toppling Leicester City 2-1 during the week.
Saturday’s clash promises to be a cracker and we're predicting that goals are on the cards.
Over 2.5 goals has landed in 10 of Hull’s last 11 matches in all competitions, and in three of Charlton’s last five, and we fancy more of them this weekend.
AFC Wimbledon vs Burton - Home Win
AFC Wimbledon head into Saturday’s clash as the form team in League One, collecting 16 points from their last six matches; more than any other side during the same period.
AFC Wimbledon will be confident of extending that impressive run when they welcome 22nd-placed Burton, who sit a point from safety. They have the added incentive of a win potentially taking them to the top of the table, provided other results go their way.
The Dons have also been strong at home, winning four of their six league games at Plough Lane, while Burton have managed just a single away win all season.
Stevenage vs Bradford - Both Teams to Score (yes)
We wrap the acca up with an intriguing League One tussle between second-placed Stevenage and third-placed Bradford.
Bradford boast the division’s most potent attack with 22 goals and have both scored and conceded in an EFL-high 83% of their matches this season - 10 of their 12 league games, plus three cup ties. Their last three fixtures alone have produced 14 goals, with both teams scoring in each.
Stevenage, meanwhile, come into this one full of confidence after a 5-2 thrashing of Crystal Palace U21s. BTTS has landed in six of their last eight outings across all competitions, adding weight to the chances of goals going in at both ends once again.
