Football Accumulator Tips: Jota to strike in 10/1 Bet Builder

Liverpool vs Everton Odds
It’s a big day at both ends of the Premier League table on Sunday with the Merseyside derby being the pick of the fixtures. Four matches take place in total and @AnthonyEadson has provided us with his best bet builder tips for the afternoon’s proceedings.
Both selections are from Anfield where Liverpool take on Everton, and at the time of writing the double pays just under 10/1 with Paddy Power.
Bet Builder Tips
Heading into Sunday’s game there’s a gap of 47 points between Liverpool and Everton in the table. I fully expect that to extend to 50 after this game, although I wouldn’t be rushing to take the 1/6 that is available on The Reds to collect three points. Instead I’m backing Diogo Jota to score and Anthony Gordon to be carded at 10/1 with Paddy Power.
Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane all started in the 4-0 thrashing of Manchester United on Tuesday and with Villarreal in the Champions League next week I expect Klopp to rotate his team and bring Diogo Jota.
In all competitions this season Diogo Jota has scored 21 goals in 45 appearances, although 12 of those appearances have been from the substitutes bench. In the Premier League in 2021/2022, Jota has scored on 15 occasions and averages 0.7 goals per 90 minutes. The 25-year-old has scored in four of his last five starts for Liverpool and I fear for Everton’s defence on Sunday. Liverpool’s last four games have been against; Manchester City in the FA Cup and league, Benfica, and Manchester United. Across those four games Klopp’s men have scored 12 goals and have the ability to really rack up the goals here.
The second half of this 10/1 double is Everton’s Anthony Gordon to be carded in the match. It’s been a really good season for the 21-year-old with him starting 19 league games and proving himself to be a bit of a leader in what have been tough times for the club.
There are some fairly short prices on show with bookmakers expecting plenty of cards in this fixture. I therefore think that quotes of around 9/2 on Gordon are reasonable considering he’s been booked in five of his 24 starts in all competitions this season.
After Burnley’s victory on Thursday, there is even more pressure on Frank Lampard and Everton to pick up points in their remaining seven games. Stuart Attwell is the referee for this game and only Paul Tierney averaged more yellow cards per game last season of the 19 to take charge of top-flight matches which can hopefully bode well for cards backers.
