Football Accumulator Tips: 20/1 Four-Fold for Saturday's fixtures
The season may now have come to a close for the majority of teams in the Football League, but there’s still plenty going on this weekend with EFL play-offs, an FA Cup final as well as plenty of other key matches across the continent. Here at BettingOdds.com we’ve put together a 4-fold accumulator that we like for Saturday’s action, that at the time pays best with bet365 at 20/1. Should all four selections go on to win, customers will receive an extra 10% on their winnings thanks to bet365’s Soccer Accumulator bonus.
Football Acca Tips
Borussia Dortmund - Win
It’s the final round of fixtures in the Bundesliga and we are kicking off our acca on Saturday with Dortmund to beat Hertha Berlin. Marco Rose’s side may not have been at their brilliant best in recent weeks, but they should be able to finish the season with three points in front of their own fans.
Erling Haaland would love to finish his campaign with a few goals and that well could be likely against a Hertha Berlin side who have conceded 69 goals in the league this season. They have failed to win 10 of their last 11 Bundesliga matches and may well have to rely on results elsewhere to guarantee their safety on this final weekend. Dortmund have scored at least two goals in 18 of their last 20 on home soil and have only failed to score once in their last 65 league outings.
Sheffield United vs Forest - Draw
There’s a massive game at Bramall Lane at 3:00pm as Sheffield United face Nottingham Forest in the first leg of their Championship play-off final. Paul Heckingbottom’s side won their final three league matches to confirm their play-off place, including a 4-0 demolition of already promoted Fulham on the last day. The Blades are undefeated in 14 of their last 15 at home and all things point to a tight game here.
Steve Cooper’s Forest enjoyed a marvellous second half of the season, narrowly missing out on automatic promotion. They are the favourites to win the play-offs and looking back at recent meetings between these two clubs, the last five have all seen under 2.5 goals. Forest have also seen under 2.5 land in eight of their last nine away matches in the Championship and a draw looks likely here in a cagey first leg.
Liverpool - Win
The three meetings between Liverpool and Chelsea this season have all ended in a draw after 90 minutes, although The Reds did come out on top in the Carabao Cup final on penalties. Despite the tight nature of previous meetings we are backing Klopp’s men to get the job done in normal time on Saturday and lift their second trophy of the season.
Chelsea ended a run of three games without a win by thumping Leeds 3-0 at Elland Road on Wednesday. The Blues have not been in the best form over the last month or two and it’s hard not to side with Liverpool considering they are unbeaten in the Premier League this calendar year, winning 14 of their last 16 matches. Ten of those victories have come by at least a two goal margin and their front line should have too much for Chelsea at Wembley.
Mansfield - Win
Rounding off this quartet of selections is Mansfield to beat Northampton in the first leg of their League Two semi-final play-off. Nigel Clough’s side will have been slightly disappointed to miss out on the automatic spots but their opposition here will feel even more hard done by after they missed out on goals scored thanks to Bristol Rovers scoring seven on the final day!
Mansfield’s success this season has been built on a strong home record. The Stags have taken 49 points in front of their own fans in 2021/2022, with only Tranmere surpassing that total. With this in mind they will be looking to take a lead into the second leg and a narrow victory could be on the cards here.
