Football Accumulator Tips: Stick with the shots market on Saturday

There are just three games taking place in the Premier League on Saturday. The first of those gets underway at 12:30pm as Brighton host Liverpool, before matches at 3:00pm and 5:30pm with Brentford against Burnley, and Manchester United taking on Spurs.
Our man @AnthonyEadson is on hand with his best Bet Builder tips for the top-flight action on Saturday. At the time of writing, the two selections combine to form a 5/4 double courtesy of bet365, with the first pick coming in the early-kick off from the Amex Stadium.
Brighton have a solid record against Liverpool over the last 18 months, taking five points from a possible nine in their last three meetings with the Reds. However, the Seagulls have been on a poor run of late and have now suffered four straight defeats in the league with their latest coming at home Newcastle last weekend.
Graham Potter’s side may have been somewhat of a bogey team for Liverpool over the last two seasons but I see the visitors getting the job done here in what is a must-win game if they are to keep themselves in the title race and to keep the pressure on Manchester City.
No team averages more shots in the league than Liverpool this season (19.6 per game) and the player I’m targeting to have over 2.5 match is January signing Luis Diaz, who has taken to life in England like a duck to water after making the switch from Porto.
Since arriving at Anfield, the Colombian has started five matches for Jurgen Klopp’s side and his shot figures in that period read, 4,4,4,4,5. Diaz’s average of 4.25 shots per game is currently higher than anyone else in the league albeit a very small sample size, however with his recent performances in mind I’m happy to include him to hit over 2.5 should he start this match against Brighton.
The other half of Saturday’s Bet Builder double comes in the evening kick-off where Antonio Conte takes his Spurs side up north to face Manchester United at Old Trafford. Spurs won this fixture 6-1 last season and after their win at Manchester City a couple of weeks ago and their demolition of Everton on Monday, I’m confident they can put in a good showing here.
Spurs often like to play on the counter in away matches against the big sides and I see Harry Kane taking up quite a deep role, with Son Heung-min making more of the forward runs trying to get in-behind on the counter.
Sonny is Spurs top scorer in the league this season with 11 goals in 13 appearances. The South Korean averages 2.39 shots per game and I’m backing him to have over 1.5 shots against United.
Of the 23 matches that Son has started in the Premier League this season, he has registered over 1.5 shots in 17 of those (74%). A player who doesn’t need a lot of chances, Son has the best shot accuracy (68%) of any of the top-eight scorers in the league this season and with this same double priced at just 2/7 with Betfair, I’ll be taking the 5/4 with bet365.
Best of luck to anyone following the selections this weekend. Please gamble responsibly,
