FA Cup Acca Tips
Wolves vs Brentford - Over 2.5 Goals
Wolves and Brentford lock horns for the third time in four matches, although this time they do battle in the Midlands. Wolves thumped the Bees 4-1 in the league two days after Christmas, which was followed by a 1-1 draw earlier this month.
I fancy a few goals once again in this one, given that goals have been a reoccuring theme in both of their seasons.
Four of Wolves' last five games have gone over 2.5 goals, while this line has been covered in eight of their 11 home games this season.
Brentford's form has been disappointing. Thomas Frank's side are without a win in six games and have lost seven of the last nine. They've both scored and conceded in six of the last seven and nine of their last 13 fixtures have gone over 2.5 goals.
Bristol City vs West Ham - Both Teams To Score
Bristol City came from behind to secure a creditable draw away to West Ham in London. With their passionate home support behind them, The Robins will now be gunning to knock out their top-tier opponents and set up another home tie against either Nottingham Forest or Blackpool.
Bristol City have scored in eight of their last 10 home games, firing three past Hull and Middlesbrough, and four past Plymouth.
Injury-hit West Ham beat Arsenal in their last away trip, but before that leaked in five goals at Liverpool and Fulham, while they've kept just one league clean sheet on the road since April.
Eastleigh vs Newport - Newport To Progress
A glamour tie at home to 12-time winners Man Utd awaits the victor of non-league Eastleigh and League Two's Newport.
The teams played out a 1-1 draw in Wales but while Eastleigh now have home advantage, I'm backing Newport to get the job done at the second time of asking, whether that's in 90 minutes, extra-time, or penalties.
Newport have pieced together a five-game unbeaten run in all competitions and have only lost twice in 12 games dating back to late November, meanwhile, Eastleigh find themselves without a win in four and have lost two of their last four home games.
It will no doubt be another close contest, although I expect the Football League side to step it up a gear and set up a fourth round clash with Man Utd.
Birmingham vs Hull - Birmingham To Win
Fourth and finally, we have an all-Championship duel between Birmingham and Hull at St Andrews.
It's not often we side with a team without a win in seven games, but stay with us.
Birmingham, so poor under the sacked Wayne Rooney, have been given an injection of impetus following the appointment of the experienced Tony Mowbray. The Blues showcased a new found fighting spirit in Mowbray's opening game when they twice came back to draw 2-2 at home to Swansea, and he will now be targeting a first win when his troops tackle a Hull side that have come unstuck in recent weeks.
The Tigers have won only once - against an out-of-sorts Blackburn - in their last six games, four of which they've lost while they've also been defeated in four of their last six away games.
