Football Accumulator Tips: Four players to commit a foul in 9/1 acca
Due to European commitments for several Premier League sides this week, five top-flight matches take place on Sunday. Four of those kick-off at 2pm and we’ve asked our man Anthony Eadson to pick out his favourite fancies and combine them into an accumulator. At the time of writing the 4-fold pays 9/1 and can be backed with either Paddy Power or Betfair.
Sunday Acca Tips
Max Aarons 1+ Foul Committed vs Brighton
All of my selections come from the player fouls market on Sunday with the first in the quartet being Max Aarons, whose Bournemouth side take on Brighton. Even money (1/1) is the price available on the right-back giving away at least one foul on Sunday which looks a little too big in my eyes.
The former Norwich man has conceded one foul in all five of his Premier League matches so far this season and with Sky Bet pricing this same bet at just 4/7, I feel we are getting a solid bit of value.
Gabriel 1+ Foul Committed vs Spurs
We have the first North London Derby of the 2023/24 campaign on Sunday as Arsenal take on Tottenham at The Emirates. Unusually for this fixture, both teams arrive here in a positive place, with Arsenal ready to try and push Manchester City for the title and Spurs enjoying their start to life under big Ange Postecoglou.
I recommended Gabriel to give away a foul against PSV on Wednesday evening and he truly obliged with the 1+ line paying out at evens. The price has been slashed slightly into 4/5 for this fixture, but I still think it’s one worth playing, especially when you consider that he has now given at least one foul in all of his last nine matches across all competitions for Arsenal. In the two North London derbies last season, Gabriel gave away totals of three and four fouls.
Enzo Fernandez 1+ Foul Committed vs Aston Villa
It hasn't been a great start to life at Stamford Bridge for Mauricio Pochettino with Chelsea only collecting five points from a possible 15 so far. The Blues have a tricky test on Sunday as they welcome Aston Villa to the capital and the player I’m targeting to give away a foul here is World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez.
I’m very surprised to see Chelsea priced as short as 8/11 to win this game and I don’t think they will collect three points. Enzo Fernandez has given away six fouls across his first five league matches this season and is the third player to make his way into my acca for the afternoon.
James Ward-Prowse 1+ Foul Committed vs Liverpool
I’m expecting a nice bit of niggle between Liverpool and West Ham at Anfield after Michail Antonio stated on his podcast that he thought The Hammers would finish higher than Jurgen Klopp’s side in the league this season.
James Ward-Prowse has made a seamless transition from Southampton to West Ham and already has three assists for his new club. The midfielder has also given away a foul in all of his last three league starts for David Moyes’ side and with Sky Bet having this one priced at just 4/9, again I feel we are getting a value price with Paddy Power going 5/6.
Combining Max Aarons, Gabriel, Enzo Fernandez and James Ward-Prowse all to commit 1+ foul on Sunday pays 9/1. Best of luck to those following the selections and please gamble responsibly.
