Football Accumulator Tips: Back Bowen to bag against Blades in 15/1 Acca
A bumper eight matches take place in the Premier League on Saturday and here at bettingodds.com we’ve combined our favourite fancies into an acca. It’s three goalscorers which have caught our attention this week and you can read below about the trio and why we think they will find the net.
Saturday Acca Tips
Jarrod Bowen to score vs Sheffield United
The only way is up for The Blades after their 8-0 pasting at home to Newcastle last Sunday. Paul Heckingbottom remains at the helm despite being the favourite in the ‘Next Premier League manager to leave’ market. The Sheffield United boss is one of four in the division who have yet to see their side collect three points and they are not fancied to change that here, priced at 13/2 to do so.
Jarrod Bowen is the player we are targeting to get on the scoresheet in East London. Bowen has let off six more shots than any other West Ham player so far this season and ranks in the top-10 in the league when it comes to hitting the target. The 26-year-old has scored four goals in just six matches this season and could have some joy against the most porous defence in top-flight.
Martin Odegaard to score vs Bournemouth
The Cherries are another of the sides who are yet to get their first win of the 2023/24 campaign and face a tough task on Saturday as they welcome Arsenal. Martin Odegaard was joint top-scorer for The Gunners in the league last season as they pushed Manchester City until the final few weeks of the campaign.
A large proportion of our reasoning behind this one is due to the Norweigian’s performances against Bournemouth last season. Odegaard scored two goals away at Bournemouth in August, before letting off a whopping 11 shots in the home fixture - a haul that wasn’t bettered by any other player in 2022/23. He has two goals this term, and once again leads the shot metrics for Arsenal this time round. All things considered, 5/2 looks a generous price here.
Erling Haaland to score vs Wolves
Erling Haaland was an unused substitute in Manchester City’s League Cup defeat to Newcastle on Wednesday and should be raring to go with a trip to The Black Country in Gameweek 7. Haaland found joy against most opponents he came up against last season, but particularly against Wolves where he managed a hat-trick in this fixture at Molineux and a goal in the match at The Etihad. Both of those fixtures finished with a 3-0 scoreline to City and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a very similar outcome in this latest encounter.
Combining Erling Haaland, Jarrod Bowen and Martin Odegaard all to score this weekend pays 15/1 with William Hill.
