Football Accumulator Tips: Back our 15/1 acca on Saturday
What a slate of football we have on Saturday and here at BettingOdds.com we’ve put together our favourite fancies across England’s top-four leagues and have combined them into an acca with BetUK.
At the time of writing, the 4-fold pays 15/1 and you can read more about our reasoning behind each selection below. With BetUK's ACCA Club offer, punters will also receive a 20% Bonus on their winnings should this quartett all bag the three points on Saturday.
Saturday Acca Tips
Brentford to beat Crystal Palace
The first selection we are siding with on Saturday is for Brentford to get the better of Crystal Palace and grab the three points in front of their own fans.
The Bees are one of the best home sides in the division in our opinion, winning ten of their 19 matches in the 2022/23 campaign and only tasting defeat on two occasions. They face a Crystal Palace side who have now played 12 matches under Roy Hodgson, however only three of those have been against teams who finished in the top-half.
Palace will be without the creative spark of Michael Olise and with Brentford putting in strong performances so far this season with a 2-2 draw against Spurs and a 3-0 thrashing of Fulham, we fancy them to get the better of the Eagles at around even money with BetUK.
Norwich to beat Huddersfield
The Canaries have been much better so far this term than many pundits had predicted before a ball was kicked this season. David Wagner’s side have collected seven points from a possible nine, with wins against Millwall and Hull and as well as playing out a thrilling 4-4 draw with newly relegated Southampton.
Huddersfield on the other hand have only picked up one point so far from their three matches. Neil Warnock performed a miracle last season to keep the Terriers up but their start to the new campaign has not been great. Huddersfield have been beaten by Leicester and Plymouth so far and despite a positive point against Middlesbrough last week, they face a Norwich side who have been free-scoring so far and the hosts could well struggle here.
Bristol Rovers to beat Wycombe
It has been a difficult start to the season for Bristol Rovers with fixtures against Portsmouth, Charlton, Cambridge and Barnsley. Joey Barton’s men managed their first W of the campaign with an impressive 2-1 away win at Charlton and they can get their first home win of the season here after narrowly missing out on three points against Barnsley.
Wycombe were 2-0 down after four minutes into the new season as they were crushed 3-0 at home to Exeter on the opening day. Matt Bloomfield’s side have had a rather easy run of fixtures in contrast to their opponents on Saturday and we can envisage these two sides being at opposite ends of the table in nine months time. At odds-against Bristol Rovers make appeal here and if this fixture was played in a few weeks time, we feel they would be priced more around the 4/5 region.
Gillingham to beat Colchester
The final team we are backing comes from League Two, where we are getting behind Gillingham to beat Colchester United. Neil Harris and his Gillingham side sit top of the pile after four matches, with four wins, which have all arrived via a 1-0 scoreline.
In contrast, Colchester are yet to get off the mark, albeit having played one game fewer than most sides in the division. Colchester’s performances have not been terrible so far, but with confidence high at Gillingham and fans starting to believe that a promotion push could be on the cards, we fancy the home side to continue their run with another narrow victory.
