Football Accumulator Tips: Back Balogun to find the net in 15/1 treble
There may be only one game in the Premier League on Sunday but there is plenty of top-flight action across the continent with high profile fixtures taking place in Spain, Italy and France. We’ve scoured the betting markets and have picked out our favourite fancies, which when combined into an accumulator pay 15/1 with bet365.
Sunday Acca Tips
We have opted for three anytime goalscorers on Sunday with the first of those being from Monaco’s match with Metz. After eight matches in Ligue 1, Monaco sit top of the table and face a Metz side who are 15th and have failed to score in their last three outings. Goals look likely here for the hosts and eight of their last nine have seen the Over 2.5 goal line cleared.
Monaco have plenty of quality in the final third, but it’s Folarin Balogun who we are siding with to score in this fixture with bet365 having even money (1/1) available as a single. The former Arsenal man has only played 272 minutes of league football this term but already has three goals to his name. He found the net against both Marseille and Reims on his last two appearances and can do so against one of the leakiest defences in the division.
Next up we are off to Villa Park where Unai Emery’s side take on West Ham. Both sides have enjoyed fruitful starts to the campaign, but we think Villa will have the edge here due to their remarkable home form. Villa have won all ten of their most recent home matches in the Premier League on a run that has seen them get the better of some top sides in the form of Newcastle, Brighton and Spurs.
Ollie Watkins managed an impressive 15 league goals for his side last season and scored a sensational hat-trick on his last home outing in the emphatic 6-1 victory of Brighton. Sunday’s opponents West Ham have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their four away matches so far this term and we fancy this to be a high-scoring encounter with hopefully Watkins getting on the scoresheet.
Rounding off our 15/1 longshot for Sunday is Ferran Torres to score as Barcelona take on Athletic Bilbao at the Olympic Stadium. Since Robert Lewandowski won't be available for Barcelona due to injury, it's likely that Torres will step in as the central striker once more. The Spaniard has managed to score three goals in La Liga this season, averaging 0.7 goals per 90 minutes, albeit a small sample size.
With Lewandowski out of the picture, there's added pressure on Torres to deliver goals, making him a worthwhile bet to score. He's priced at just above 2/1 as a single, which seems like good value in our eyes.
