Football Accumulator Tips: An 11/1 Goal Scorer Treble for Midweek

As part of our expanded acca coverage here on BettingOdds.com, Neil Monnery has picked out a tasty treble for anytime goal scorers for action this midweek that is 11.29/1 with William Hill at the time of writing...
Harry Kane - Burnley vs Spurs - 11/10
Anyone who watched the England Captain’s performance at the Etihad on Saturday evening will not be surprised to see him on my list of three players to score across league games this week. The 28 year-old hasn’t been at his brilliant best throughout the 21/22 season and only seven goals in 22 league games played is not the type of numbers that we are used to seeing. Yet he more than passed the eye-test last time out and hope springs eternal that this will springboard him to a rich vein of form.
This is certainly a selection based primarily on what we saw against Manchester City. His recent form beyond Saturday does seem to suggest that he’s starting to turn things around. Five of the past 11 Spurs goals have come from the head or foot of Kane.
Burnley don’t concede many and that is the biggest concern for me heading into Wednesday’s game at Turf Moor. Only twice has their defence been breached in four home Premier League games in 2022 but that is likely the reason Kane is odds against rather than odds-on. I think it is a slightly better than 50:50 shot that he scores therefore I like his spot in this treble.
Cameron Archer - Preston vs Nottingham Forest - 2/1
About a month ago I started to read about how my team (Portsmouth) were interested in a young Aston Villa striker called Cameron Archer on loan for the rest of the season. The problem was he was also attracting plenty of League One and Championship interest. It was Preston North End who managed to secure his services for the remainder of the 21/22 campaign and it is fair to say, he’s been quite the success so far.
The 20 year-old has already hit the back of the net four times in seven appearances and he’s netted three in his past four. So he’s clearly in good form and when you throw in that he scored a hat-trick for Aston Villa in the EFL Cup against Barrow and also hit the back of the net against Chelsea, it seems that Steven Gerrard has a potential superstar on him long-term. I like his chances of adding to his PNE goal collection at the City Ground where the home side have only kept one clean sheet in their previous four home games.
Michael Smith - Rotherham United vs Morecambe - 19/20
Top of the table Rotherham have scored more goals than anyone apart from Oxford United this season and they welcome in a team who have let in more than anyone bar Doncaster Rovers. So the home team score a lot and the away side let in a lot. Put those two things together and it indicates that this could be a big home win.
Michael Smith is Rotherham’s top scorer with 17 so far in the 21/22 campaign and has found the back of the net every 162 minutes. He has scored in five games so far this calendar year and he did win Player of the Month for January so his form is good and I like his chances to grab at least one more on Tuesday evening.
