Football Accumulator Tips
Alexander Isak To Score
Now there's no getting away from the fact that Newcastle have a difficult trip to Aston Villa this week. The Toon's away form is poor, while their opponents are a formidable force at home.
However, it's not an away win or even a point that I'm after. It's a goal from their in-form striker Alexander Isak. The Swede has found the back of the net in each of his last three Premier League starts against Man City, Liverpool and Luton, while he has five goals in five games in all competitions.
Isak has 10 top-flight goals on the board in just 16 appearances this season, which means he boasts the second-best goals-per-game ratio (0.79) of any player with nine or more goals to their name so far this term.
Furthermore, Isak bagged a brace in Newcastle's 5-1 demolition of Villa when the teams met on the opening weekend of the season.
Raul Jimenez To Score
Raul Jimenez may have taken some time to hit the ground running at Fulham, but he's showcased some great goalscoring form over the last couple of months.
The Fulham forward has scored four goals in his last five league games with all five of those goals coming in his last three straight league home games against Arsenal, West Ham, and Nottingham Forest.
On Tuesday, he'll fancy his chances of extending this scoring streak to four successive top-flight games at Craven Cottage when Fulham welcome an Everton side that have taken one point from their last 12 on offer.
Gabriel Martinelli To Score
Gabriel Martinelli came off the bench against Crystal Palace to score not once but twice in the space of 20 minutes.
Now back in the scoring books, I expect the winger to be rewarded with a start at Nottingham Forest, a side Arsenal beat 5-0 last season with Martinelli opening the scoring after five minutes.
As we know, the Brazilian has a tendency to have goalscoring purple patches. Back in October, he scored two important goals in victories over Man City and Sevilla. Then in three weeks from mid-November to early December, he scored three goals in the space of six games for club and country.
Forest have failed to keep a clean sheet in 10 league matches and shipped three goals at Brentford last time out.
