Friday Accumulator Tips
Netherlands vs Scotland - BTTS
As this summer's European championship draws ever closer, Scotland will look to test themselves against top quality opposition when they visit the Netherlands on Friday.
The Scots progressed through to the tournament in impressive fashion, finishing as runners-up behind Spain in Group A, at the expense of Erling Haaland's Norway; Steve Clarke's troops conjured up a stunning 2-0 win at home to the Spanish and also defeated Norway in Oslo.
They've since lost to England and France but scored in both defeats, and I fancy them to find the back of the net away to a Dutch side which are there to be got at. The Oranje don't have the best defensive record in friendly fixtures, having conceded in nine of their last 10 matches, which includes a 2-2 draw against the Scots, who were denied a superb win in the 89th minute.
On a side note, only four players scored more goals in qualifying than Scott McTominay (7) who can be backed at 9/2 to get on the scoresheet on Friday.
Romania vs Northern Ireland - Home Win
While Northern Ireland stuttered and stumbled their way to a disappointing 5th place finish in their qualification group - with only San Marino below them - Romania stormed to 1st in Group I, accumulating six wins and a further four draws from 10 unbeaten matches to progress through to their first major tournament since 2016.
Romania are enjoying an 11 game unbeaten run under boss Edward Iordanescu, which includes a win over Switzerland last time out. They've won their last three games on home soil and look decent value at 7/10 to prolong their undefeated streak by stamping another win on the board against travel shy Northern Ireland, whose away record is pretty diabolical.
Green and White Army have lost six of their last seven matches on the road, with the only anomaly being a win against San Marino. They were stuffed 4-0 by Finland last time out, which followed a poor defeat in Kazakhstan and a 4-2 loss in Slovenia.
Spain vs Colombia - Draw
Two teams in fine form face each other in London on Friday night in what promises to be an intriguing match-up.
Spain survived an initial Scottish-style scare in qualifying to convincingly progress to the finals as group winners. La Roja have won eight and lost just one of their 10 matches under head coach Luis de la Fuente, who led his troops to Nations League glory last year. Since beating Croatia on penalties in the final, his side have won six successive matches, scoring 22 goals.
However, Spain's winning run will be put to the test against Colombia, who themselves have forgotten what it's like to lose, having gone 19 matches unbeaten, spanning two years. They have won their last four matches, which includes a 2-1 victory over Brazil.
It's difficult to split the countries given their respective form guides, making a draw stand-out at 12/5.
Hungary vs Turkey - BTTS
Hungary and Turkey will join the likes of Netherlands, Scotland, Romania, and Spain in Germany this summer after the respective nations each won their qualifying groups: Hungary went unbeaten in Group G, while Turkey pipped Croatia by a point to claim the honours in Group D.
Similar to Spain vs Colombia, this promises to be another competitive contest between two countries in great form. Hungary are unbeaten in 12 matches, whereas Turkey have won eight of their last 12 which includes a 3-2 win away to Euro 2024 hosts Germany.
Instead of pinning my flag to a match result outcome, it's both teams to score I like the look of here at 87/100 which, combined with the above three bets, forms a 20/1 accumulator with CopyBet.
Hungary have both scored and conceded in their last six successive matches, with last three games containing four goals each. BTTS has landed in a sizeable 10 of Turkey's last 14 matches, with The Crescent-Stars scoring in 13 of those games, while they've not fired blanks in front of goal away from home since 2020.
