Fantasy Football Tips: Bring in Bryan Mbeumo for Gameweek 11

Gameweek 11 might be a tough one for fantasy managers to navigate, with two form sides Newcastle United and Arsenal facing off. Meanwhile, Manchester City and Liverpool face promoted sides. Here’s the must-have players for FPL Gameweek 11.
Gameweek 10 Review
The predictions fared well with a clean sheet from Liverpool’s Tsimikas and an attacking return for Saka, but it could have been so much more with Arsenal beating Sheffield United 5-0. It was a rare blank from Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins in their 3-1 win against Luton Town.
I’m on cloud nine after another fantastic gameweek, where my midfield delivered a clean sweep of attacking returns, including double digit hauls from Bryan Mbeumo, Heung-Min Son and Moussa Diaby. I also got lucky with a Cash clean sheet following an early substitution.
Defender: John Stones vs Bournemouth (H)
Manchester City lead the clean sheet hopes for Gameweek 11, with a home game against a Bournemouth side struggling for goals: the Cherries have found the back of the net eight times in their opening ten fixtures.
Manchester City have an excellent defensive record this season at the Etihad with two clean sheets and just two goals conceded. John Stones carries the most attacking threat, playing out of position in midfield, with seven Premier League goals in the last three seasons.
Midfielder: Bryan Mbeumo vs West Ham (H)
Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo has regained his early season form following four successive blanks, with back to back double digit hauls to reward those managers who kept their faith in him. He now looks to be a great long term hold, given his involvement in set pieces.
Up next it’s West Ham at home, who have kept just one clean sheet this season, recently conceding four away to Aston Villa and three to Liverpool. Brentford generally favour better on home turf, with Mbeumo third only to Salah and Haaland on 9.3 expected goal involvements.
Forward: Erling Haaland vs Bournemouth (H)
Erling Haaland has had his fair share of doubters in recent weeks, having blanked against Wolves and Arsenal in Gameweek 7 and 8, but he’s been back among the goals since then and should be a captaincy lock against Bournemouth in Gameweek 11.
Haaland has blanked just once at home this season, with five goals and one assist in four games. Bournemouth are without first choice goalkeeper Neto for this game who has an injury which won’t help them. With a free midweek for City, I wouldn’t be against using the triple captain chip on Haaland this weekend either.
