Everton vs. Leicester City Predictions: Expect goals and cards at Goodison

Everton vs. Leicester City Odds
Europa Conference League Semi Finalists Leicester, travel to Merseyside to face relegation threatened Everton Wednesday evening, live on BT Sport.
Everton vs. Leicester City Tips
Everton enjoyed the luxury of having the weekend off but prior to that, managed their first league win in four games – a 1-0 vs Manchester United. They currently sit three points clear of the relegation zone, having played a game less than 18th place Burnley. Everton’s home form could well keep them in the division and a win here for the toffees would secure consecutive wins for the first time since September.
Leicester followed up their European heroics with a 2-1 defeat at the weekend at the helm of Newcastle – a 95th minute winner from summer signing Bruno Guimares was enough to seal all three points for Howes’ side. Leicester have now dropped to 9th in the Premier League, and are actually closer to 17th place Everton than they are the European places they once chased. Rodger’s side are 14 points adrift of the top six, which is mainly down to a horrible away record. The Foxes have lost six of their last eight league trips and are conceding an average of two goals per away game this term!
Frank Lampard has suggested that Yerry Mina could feature for the first time since February, but Tom Davies, Andros Townsend and Nathan Patterson are all ruled out.
Leicester have no fresh injury concerns, but are still without Ndidi, Vardy and Ryan Bertrand.
Combining these two selections using Bet365s bet builder gives us an odds against shot which should go close.
James Maddison is averaging two shots per game in the League this season and Everton going for the win should give chances for the Foxes midfielder. He managed six away at Man City and cleared the line vs Liverpool, hitting two vs Everton should be straight forward given that he starts.
I expect Everton to be well up for this game, in what should result in some cards for the home side. We could also see a lot of gamesmanship from Lampard men if they are hanging onto a result late on. They have picked up at least one second half card in each of their last six games.
One player who has shown some class in recent weeks for the Toffees is Brazilian forward Richarlison. He managed a brace in his game before last, and tops the charts for both sections of this bet. He holds the most cards (7) and most goals (6) in the Everton squad.
Despite Everton’s recent woes I do see them scoring here. I touched on Leicesters terrible away form, and the fact they concede an average of two goals per away game – Richarlison looks the best bet to find the net.
Adding a card looks perfect for this fixture. Richarlison is a player that plays with his heart on his sleeve which is shown in his card record. If he does manage to score there is a good chance Everton will have something to hold onto, and hopefully this results in the fiesty Brazilian in the book.
