Everton vs. Leicester Betting Tips: Two picks for the Saturday evening game at Goodison

Everton welcome Leicester to Goodison Park Saturday tea-time, live on Sky Sports Main Event.
Below are two tips for the game.
The Toffees come into this fixture looking for a third consecutive clean sheet, after collecting four points from their last two outings.
A 3-0 win on home soil vs Crystal Palace was followed by a 0-0 draw away at Fulham, making Everton the first team to force a blank on the Cottagers at Craven Cottage all season.
Progression has been made under Lampard as Everton continue to climb the table, however, only Nottingham Forest and Wolves have scored less league goals during the campaign so far, so a solid balance still needs to be found at both ends of the pitch.
Leicester ended a run of five consecutive away losses in their last game on their travels.
The Foxes managed to collect all three points at Molineux, with Wolves suffering a 4-0 defeat – a game where Leicester only managed five shots.
Rodgers’ side have also made obvious improvements in recent weeks, despite conceding the the third most goals in the division (25).
A marginal 1-0 defeat in their last outing to the champions Manchester City was the first goal the Foxes had conceded in four games. Another low scoring affair could be on the cards at Goodison Park.
Everton vs Leicester Tips
Not a selection I enjoy tipping, but backing there to be under three goals Saturday evening is going to be my main play for this fixture.
Only three of Everton’s 10 league games have seen over 2.5 goals, and of these three games we didn’t see four or more once.
Two of The Toffees six home matches have seen over 2.5 goals, so backing unders here looks the play.
Lampard seems to have prioritised the defensive capabilities of this side which has seemingly come at an expense of goals at the other end, scoring just 11 goals all season.
Combining this with the fact Leicester have conceded just one goal in their last four games, makes me believe under 2.5 goals is the value play in the goal market, happy enough for me to have 1.5 Pts on the selection.
Pickford has been carded three times this season in 12 games, all for time wasting. Combining this with a home win gives a lovely looking 16/1 shot.
Despite a recent win on the road for Leicester they can be a soft touch away from their home patch.
I’ve already mentioned my thoughts on a low scoring game so neither side should run away with it, and if Everton do get ahead opportunities will come for Pickford to get up to his usual antics.
With a bit of luck and Pickford to deliver, this 16/1 shot is worthy a punt at 0.25pts.
