Erling Haaland Next Club Odds: Where will one of the world's best be playing next season?

The future of Erling Haaland has been widely discussed since his meteoric rise into one of the world's current greatest players over the past couple of seasons.
A £68m release clause is set to become activated this summer which is likely to ignite a bidding frenzy between Europe's elite.
We've looked to the summer transfer window and provided some odds - courtesy of Paddy Power - for who the 21-year-old Norweigian star's next club might be before September 3rd 2022. We've also provided some key stats of his since joining Borussia Dortmund to show just how prolific he's become.
Man City - 10/3
It's no surprise to see Pep Guardiola's Man City are the current favourites to secure Haaland's signature in the summer at 10/3. These odds imply a 23.07% chance of the transfer happening, and given the longstanding absence of a striker at the club, it's clear to see why.
Despite signing Julian Alvarez in the January window, the void left by Sergio Aguero's exit remains tangible. Without a clear focal point in their forward line, the Blues are constantly forced to come up with new and creative ways of breaking teams down.
Even though Pep's men have no issues finding the net, the introduction of a player of Erling Haaland's calibre into this team would be a clear statement for both player and club.
Chelsea - 4/1
Closely behind them in the market are Chelsea at 4/1. After Romelu Lukaku's comments regarding former club Inter Milan and Timo Werner's prolonged settlement to Premier League life, the Blues could well be in the market for a new striker in the summer.
Haaland has remained on Chelsea's radar for a number of years now, with the London club staying close to the top of the betting market to acquire his services.
After the success of last campaign, if Chelsea fall far enough away from Man City and Liverpool this time around, Roman Abramovich may be prompted to go big with a marquee signing ahead of next season.
Bayern Munich - 5/1
Slightly larger at 5/1 are fellow Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. While Dortmund fans couldn't begrudge their star player leaving, they might have conflicting views about a switch to help strengthen Germany's already dominant force.
Rather than being in direct competition against them and striker Robert Lewandowski, he may instead opt to join forces in a bid to maintain further control over the division's title, as well as establishing a real assault on the European front.
The real question remains how strongly does Haaland relish a new challenge, as opposed to whether Munich would be interested in owning a monopoly on the league's two most potent forwards.
Real Madrid - 5/1
Following the reports of Kylian Mbappe's proposed deal to Madrid in the summer, could the La Liga leaders be back on the rise? The bookmaker have them as a 5/1 shot to be his next club.
The likelihood of Los Blancos footing the wage demands for two astronomical signings in the same transfer window is incredibly slim.
And if recent speculation is to be believed, it appears that Ancelotti and Madrid both have their sights firmly set on Kylian Mbappe to take the club into a new era.
Barcelona - 6/1
There are similar concerns over the economic restrictions of another La Liga club who find themselves in the running. Next on the list at 6/1 are Barcelona.
Just a couple of days ago, Haaland was identified as the club's number one target heading into the summer. But the necessary additional payments of bonuses and agent fees are expectedly too substantial for Barca's financial limitations.
Best of the Rest
Man Utd - 9/1 - With the ageing Edinson Cavani and Cristiano Ronaldo leading Man Utd's attack, an invigoration of further youth could equip them well, but their relationship with Mino Raiola - Haaland's agent - could provide huge complications in any potential deal.
Liverpool - 10/1 - This doesn't have the makings of a Liverpool signing on paper. But if one of Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah move on during that window, it will take a huge name to replace their departure.
Newcastle - 14/1 - After their Saudi-led takeover, the transfer floodgates could well open for Newcastle this summer. And although the possibilities are endless, this conversation is a complete nonstarter if the Magpies don't beat the drop first.
