The high-profile friendly against Brazil offered a number of players with an ideal opportunity to sparkle, yet it proved to be a frustrating and rather lacklustre night for The Three Lions, who lacked a cutting edge in attack and looked vulnerable in defence.
Boss Gareth Southgate, who lost a friendly at Wembley for the first time, now has a number of big decisions to make against Belgium, who themselves were held to a goalless draw by the Republic of Ireland, with John O’Shea’s side missing a penalty.

England vs Belgium Bet Builder Tips
The absence of Harry Kane coupled with the underwhelming performance of Ollie Watkins could well open up the door for Ivan Toney; given the opportunity on Tuesday, Toney will be doubly determined to prove himself at international level.
The Brentford striker has scored four goals in 10 matches since returning from his ban, which includes strikes against Liverpool and Tottenham. During those 10 games he's accumulated 28 shots, 15 of which have been on target, including four on goal against Liverpool. At 2/5, I'm backing him to register over 0.5 shots on target against Belgium.
A handful for any defender, Toney isn't afraid to put himself about. He's picked up three yellows since returning and committed a whopping seven fouls in his last game against Burnley, with the forward a tempting price at 11/2 to be carded on Tuesday.
Neither England or Belgium lose many matches. The 1-0 defeat to Brazil was England’s first loss since the World Cup and, remarkably, their first home friendly defeat at Wembley since 2016.
As for Belgium, they’ve not lost in 12 matches dating back to that surprise 2-0 defeat to Morocco in the group stages of the 2022 World Cup. 11 of those games have come under Domenico Tedesco who has yet to suffer defeat since replacing Roberto Martinez after the World Cup in Qatar. Eight have been victories, including a 3-2 win against Germany.
With that said, I like the value of the draw at 5/2, which springs this bet builder up to 28/1 with bet365.
