England Player Assists Tips
Kieran Trippier can take club form into World Cup
It makes sense to start with one of England's most in-form players heading into Qatar: Kieran Trippier.
If you've not had the Newcastle player in your FPL team so far this season then you need to take a long hard look at yourself. Tripper has racked up 96 points - more than any defender - en route to playing a pivotal part in propelling The Toon to the dizzying heights of 3rd in the Premier League table.
In the process, he's scored a cracking free-kick against Man City and chalked up three assists.
Trippier is the shortest price (1/25) of any England defender to start against Iran and should be in contention to take set-pieces, whether that's corners or free-kicks. He's also no stranger to whipping in pin-point crosses or rampaging forward, which means he has the potential to rack up the assists in Qatar, especially given that he has players such as Harry Kane to target.
Paddy Power have priced up the 32-year-old at 4/11 to assist one or more goals in Qatar, although it's the 2/1 on offer for 2+ assists that stands out.
You can also find him at 7/1 to register 3+ assists and 25/1 for 4+.
Hey Jude
Jude Bellingham will be pretty confident of starting for England following his superb displays for Borussia Dortmund this season, during which he's scored nine goals and set-up three more in 22 matches in all competitions.
The midfielder became the club's youngest-ever skipper in October due to an injury to Marco Reus. His leadership qualities and maturity are beyond his years - turned 19 in June - and he will surely be a key cog in the England machine this winter.
Bellingham is priced at 8/13 for 1+ assist at the World Cup, 10/3 for 2+, and 12/1 for 3+, while he's 50/1 to really fire with 4+.
Who else is in the mix for an assist or two?
Although his goal involvements perhaps don't reflect it, Jack Grealish has on the whole enjoyed a promising start to the season with Man City. Yet, we'll have to wait and see if his club performances warrant a start against Iran, with the winger 6/1 to be in the starting-11.
Grealish has been handed odds of 4/6 to bag a couple of assists in Qatar and 2/1 for 3 or more.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is also odds-on for to assist 2 or more goals in the tournament, with Phil Foden and Mason Mount both 6/4 for 2+ assists, while Raheem Sterling and England's great Golden Boot hope, Harry Kane, are each 13/8 for 2+ assists.
175/1 for assists treble bet
At double-digit prices you can find Kyle Walker at 10/1 to assist 2 or more goals, Phil Foden is 16/1 for 4+ assists, and Kane is 80/1 to turn provider with 5+ assists.
The biggest price in the England Player Assist market is the 250/1 on offer for Mason Mount to assist 6 or more goals in the tournament.
Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling each to assist 4 or more goals is 200/1, although Kane, Foden and Raheem Sterling to combine for 11 or more assists throughout the tournament could attract interest at 175/1 with Paddy Power.
