England Women vs. Denmark Women Betting Tips: Rachel Daly backed in all-European clash

England bid to make it two wins from two Group D matches at the Women's World Cup when they take on fellow European side Denmark on Friday 28th July (BBC 1 , 9.30am kick-off with coverage starting at 9am).
Fresh from tipping Georgia Stanway to score in England's opening 1-0 over Haiti, Jack Kitson returns to preview Friday's outing at Sydney's Allianz Stadium.
Both England and Denmark secured 1-0 wins in their respective opening Group D matches, meaning they are both level on three points.
England were underwhelming in their nervy win against debutants Haiti, which was thanks to a retaken penalty from Georgia Stanway that saw our 23/20 anytime goalscorer bet land.
The Lionesses dominated possession (75%) and accumulated 21 shots with 11 on target but once again failed to score from open play.
A wasteful England have scored just two goals in their last four matches, only one of which has come from open play. The absence of Euro 2022 stars Beth Mead and Fran Kirby appear to have unsettled England's swagger in the final third so Sarina Weigman will want her side to be more potent on Friday, although Denmark will be no walkover.
The Danes overcame China 1-0 thanks to a late winner from substitute Amalie Vangsgaard to record their fifth win in their last six matches, with their only defeat in this run coming against Spain.
They are, however, big 9/1 outsiders to inflict a first competitive defeat upon England in the Wiegman era. A draw is 7/2, while England are a short price at 2/5 to claim the spoils.
England Women vs Denmark Women Tips
England may not have set the tournament alight in their opening game, yet it was a similar story in the 1-0 defeat of Austria in their first game of last summer's Euros, with the Lionesses thumping Norway 8-0 in their second game followed by a 5-0 demolition of Northern Ireland.
England will now want to click into gear and showcase their quality against Denmark. I'm by no means expecting an 8-0 goal fest but I do like England at even-money to win to nil.
The goals may have dried up of late but England's defensive record remains extremely impressive. They've conceded just 12 goals in 33 matches under Wiegman, with a win to nil landing on a whopping 19 occasions.
England should have enough quality to dispatch of the Danes who have scored just three goals in their last four games and could only muster two shots on target against China.
“No one is happy to sit on the bench,” was Rachel Daly's reply when asked about missing out on a place in the starting-11 in England's lacklustre 1-0 defeat of Haiti.
You can understand Daly's frustration at the decision given that she hammered home a joint-record 22 WSL goals last season, which included nine goals in her final five games.
The Aston Villa striker will be firmly in Wiegman's thoughts as she mulls over what team to employ against Denmark.
Daly, who was a left-back for England last summer, has since gone on to score five goals for the Lionesses, including a brace against Italy, and she can be backed at 7/5 to add another to her international tally on Friday.
I've teamed this up with England to win by a one goal margin at 9/4 to form a 7/1 Bet Builder.
Three of England's last six wins have been by this margin, including their World Cup opener against Haiti and February's 2-1 win over Italy in which Daly scored twice.
