England vs. Bangladesh Betting Tips: Two predictions for Cricket World Cup encounter

Reigning Cricket World Cup champions England were well and truly humbled by New Zealand in their opening match in India, but the 2019 winners will have a swift chance to get back to winning ways when they face Bangladesh in Dharamsala on Tuesday morning. Bangladesh kicked off their quest for glory with an authoritative victory over minnows Afghanistan, so they will head into Tuesday's match in high spirits.
Our man Steve Chambers is here to provide his predictions and best bets for the 50-over clash and he has two tips for what is a fascinating encounter at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium...
England vs Bangladesh Tips
With Ben Stokes a huge injury doubt again then it would be no surprise to see England unleash the same XI that were toppled by New Zealand by nine wickets and stand-in skipper Jos Buttler will be hoping for a lot better in both the batting and bowling departments against a Bangladesh side that will be huge outsiders to grab the win here.
England are around the 1/5 mark with most bookmakers to gain their first win of the tournament, while a Bangladesh win is available at 4/1 with bet365 and while England were trounced in their first match against an inspired Black Caps they should have far too much class here. For the first time in one-day international history all 11 batsmen for England hit double-figures, but all apart from Joe Root managed to get past 50, which would've been hugely disappointing for Buttler and the coaching staff.
The likes of Root, Bairstow, Brook and Buttler himself hit 25 or more, but none of that quartet went on to reach three figures, however, it's one of those star batsman that can sparkle in Tuesday's match. Brook, who was a late call-up to the Cricket World Cup squad has been one of the stars of the shorter format for the last 18 months and having hit a flurry of swashbuckling boundaries against New Zealand he duly mistimed one and was caught in the deep. However, he could be a little more circumspect in this innings as he may not try to hit every ball to the rope and attempt to compile a big innings. Currently an 11/2 chance to be top run scorer for England, Brook is the man to lead his men to a convincing win.
England's star spinner Adil Rashid failed to fire against New Zealand and struggled from the outset and recorded figures of 0-47 off seven overs as both Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra smacked him around the park. However, the spinner could have much more success against Bangladesh and the 7/2 for him to be top bowler for England looks a decent bet.
Averaging an eye-catching 16.94 against Bangladesh and having a glorious strike rate of 19.8, Rashid has a phenomenal record against Tuesday's rivals and he will be eager to bounce back from a disappointing display against New Zealand and he could well sparkle in this event. If England were to change personnel then it could be in the fast bowling department with the triumvirate of Sam Curran, Chris Woakes and Mark Wood all struggling against New Zealand in the last game, but Rashid should comfortably keep his place and he could well be the shining beacon.
Should England be put into bat first then they should be capable of putting on a big score and with Bangladesh forced to attack then they could well find it hard scoring against Rashid and they could play some rash shots against him and he can quite easily be the top bowler for an English side that can return to winning ways.
