England vs. Australia Ashes Second Test: When and where is it, how to watch, latest odds, and team news

Has everyone caught their breath yet?
There was a thrilling conclusion in the first Test of the 2023 Ashes, with Australian captain Pat Cummins leading his team to victory from a position where it looked certain England would win.
England captain Ben Stokes promised entertainment before the series started, and if the first test is anything to go by, we could be in for one of the greatest Ashes series of all time.
Below we take a look at when the second Test match will take place, where it will be held, how to watch it, the possible starting line-ups, and the latest odds.
When is the Second Test Match of the Ashes?
The men’s teams have a week off between the first and second Test, which starts on Wednesday 28th June.
Where is the Second Ashes Test Being Held?
The second Test will be held at the ‘Home of Cricket’, Lord’s in St John’s Wood, London.
Unfortunately for England, Australia historically have a very good record at Lord’s, winning seven of the last 11 Test matches against England at the famous old ground.
How to watch England v Australia Second Test Match?
The second Ashes Test will be on Sky Sports Cricket with coverage starting at 10.15am every morning, with the first ball bowled at 11am.
England vs Australia Second Test Match Odds: Who is the favourite?
After such a close game in the first Test, it is no surprise that the bookies are expecting another tight affair at Lord's.
England are 6/4 with most bookmakers at the moment, while Australia are slightly shorter at 6/5. Meanwhile, a draw can be backed at 4/1.
How will the teams line up for the Second Ashes Test?
As England have often done under Stokes and McCullum, they have announced their team the day before the game:
England
Ben Duckett, Zak Crawley, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Stokes *, Jonathan Bairstow +, Stuart Broad, Ollie Robinson, Josh Tongue, James Anderson
England have made one change to their bowling attack, with Josh Tongue coming in for Moeen Ali to give England some much-needed extra pace. Joe Root was impressive with the ball in the first Test and will be England's frontline spinner.
The expectation was that Mark Wood would come into the side for one of Robinson, Anderson, or Broad but the England management have surprised us all by bringing Tongue in to play alongside them. Tongue was impressive against Ireland in the Ashes warmup, bowling with real zip and pace and getting good bounce. Still, he is vastly inexperienced and Australia presents a far stiffer challenge than the Irish.
Moeen Ali's was always in a race to get fully fit for this Test following his finger injury, but should still have a role to play in the rest of the series. If there's anywhere to leave a spinner out of your side during an Ashes series, it's probably Lord's, as the pitch doesn't take much spin and the slope is conducive to seam bowling.
Australia
Australia will announce their team on the morning of the Test, and will be picking from this squad:
Pat Cummins (captain), Steve Smith (vice-captain), Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Cameron Green, Marcus Harris, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Marsh, Todd Murphy, Matthew Renshaw, Mitchell Starc, David Warner.
Australia may also look to bring some extra pace into the attack by bringing Mitchell Starc in for either Scott Boland or Josh Hazelwood.
