Crystal Palace vs Everton Predictions
Having pulled nicely clear of the relegation zone under David Moyes, Everton will set their sights on climbing the table when they face one of the sides within their reach in Crystal Palace on Saturday evening.
The Eagles are on a good run of form of their own and have won three of their last four Premier League games to nil to ease their own relegation worries.
This should be an entertaining affair under the lights between two teams who have found their groove in recent weeks.
Oliver Glasner’s wing-back system has consistently seen high corner counts for Crystal Palace games as they look to get the ball in behind wide at every opportunity. Games at Selhurst Park have averaged 11.59 corners this season, with eight of their 12 home matches going over this line. Their last three fixtures on their own patch have seen corner totals of 11, 12 and 15.
Under David Moyes, Everton games are also corner heavy as his direct style and eagerness to get the ball in the box from crosses at every opportunity often force opposition defenders to put the ball behind. Their six matches under his stewardship have seen an average 10.33 corners with only their trip to Brighton and the midweek draw with Liverpool going under this line.
The last two meetings between these sides at Selhurst Park have seen 14 and 11 corners and so hopefully we can get more of the same to land this selection.

Daniel Munoz has made the most tackles in the Premier League this season with 87, 15 more than any other player. Those tackles have come at an average of 3.94 per 90 and he’s made at least three in 16 of his 23 league starts and four or more in six of his last seven.
Down Everton’s left side, Munoz will be opposing the combination of Vitalii Mykolenko and Jack Harrison who are dispossessed 2.42 times per 90 between them and so he will have a tough job keeping them quiet. Tackle counts of six at Bournemouth, nine versus Spurs and 11 against Newcastle emphasis just how high Munoz can go and with this match-up, we can expect at least three.
In terms of fouls, Munoz is averaging 1.4 per 90 and has also made at least one offence in 16 of 23 matches. He’s always heavily involved defensively due to his wing-back role and has a good opponent here to rack up the duels. Jack Harrison will replace the injured Iliman Ndiaye and his 1.28 fouls drawn per 90 this season are encouraging. Within minutes of coming on against Liverpool in midweek, he’d drawn two fouls and seen Connor Bradley booked and so hopefully Munoz is in similar mood.
