Crystal Palace vs. Arsenal Betting Tips: Side with both teams scoring at Selhurst Park

Arsenal head to Selhurst Park to conclude game week two of the Premier League slate, 20:00 live on Sky Sports. Jimmy The Punt is on hand to preview the action and provide his best bets.
The Gunners got off to a winning start last weekend but despite all their possession, laboured to victory against Nottingham Forest, in a game that was ultimately overshadowed by the season ending injury to Jurriën Timber.
Mikel Arteta’s new look side were slick in the first half, and their new signings impressed, but Arsenal had trouble calving out the chances to match their dominance. They only racked up an xG of 0.80 (conceding 1.2) and relied on some clinical finishing.
Crystal Palace will be buoyed by three points on opening day and the news that starman, Micheal Olise, extended his contract at the club. The winger is out of action until September though, as is Will Hughes and Matheus Franca.
Roy Hodgson should field the same XI as in their opening game which would see Jeffrey Schlupp, Eberechi Eze and Jordan Ayew operating in behind Odsonne Edouard.
As for Arsenal, Timber joins Mohamed Elneny and Gabriel Jesus on the sidelines. Takehiro Tomiyasu should start in the Dutchman’s place and could be the visitors only chance although Oleksandar Zinchenko, Folarin Balogun and Albert Sambi Lokonga face late fitness tests.
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal Tips
Nottingham Forest looked menacing on the counter attack at the Emirates on opening day. The Tricky Trees were geared to pounce in transition with the pace of Brennan Johnson and Morgan Gibbs-White but it just highlights Arsenal’s vulnerability in this area.
Forest generated 1.2 xG from just six shots and created two ‘big chances’. Crystal Palace will no doubt take inspiration from this performance.
The Eagles were good value for their victory at Bramall Lane, 24 shots and two disallowed goals tells you all you need to know. We saw an aggressive side Hodgson in South Yorkshire, the veteran grappled with Max Lowe, a player 50 years younger than him. His latest Palace side are not really what you would expect; offensive and attack minded.
I think both sides will be amongst the goals on Monday.
It is more of a hunch but Crystal Palace win and both teams to score provides a bit of interest at a juicy price.
Arteta’s side capitulated away from home at the back end of last season. No side won more points on the road then the Gunners but they only won two of their last six.
Forest beat them, there was only 0.04 of an xG between them and Newcastle in Arsenal’s 2-0 win, Arsenal were thumped at the Etihad and squandered two goal leads in against West Ham and at Anfield.
Best of luck if you are backing any of these selections and please remember to gamble responsibly.
