Cross Game Multi Tips: Five bets for Sunday's top-flight football

JJ Value offers up five football tips for this Sunday's Premier League matches between Southampton & Man Utd, and Arsenal & Wolves.
Sunday's early kick off sees Southampton host Manchester United in a fixture which the home can afford to lose and still be above their illustrious opponents. A lot of Southampton’s form is down to Danny Ings but they are far from a one man team as they have proved in their previous two fixtures. Man Utd rank 2nd in the league for fouls conceded and 1st in the league for fouls conceded away from home, that should be music to the ears for Saints fans given they have one of the best exponents of set-pieces in Europe in James Ward-Prowse. He's 5/6 for 1 Shot on target here and 9/2 for 2, both of which look good prices but I’m plumping on him having 2 shots on target from outside the box at 12/1 instead.
With Walcott replacing Ings up front it has meant Southampton have become more of a counter attacking team of late and another player this has benefitted is winger Moussa Djenepo and I’m taking a punt on him winning the WhoScored man of the match at 16/1. He won it 3 times in his 10 starts last season and he’s a player who’s style really fits the WhoScored metric. Last season he ranked 3rd for tackles and 2nd for dribbles in the Saints team, he’s maintained those same numbers this season and if he can add a few more goals and assists to his game I’m certain he will be single figure prices most weeks in this market.
Sunday's final match sees two evenly matched sides go head to head in Arsenal v Wolves. Both have good defensive records this season but have struggled in front of goal. Arsenal could have as many as 10 first team players out here so I can't side with them at the prices. The Gunners put in a good performance midweek but much of that was due to the excellence of Pepe who is suspended here. Wolves couldn’t get a win on Monday but they did rack up an impressive 20 shots, 9 of which were on target so there’s every reason for them to believe they can continue that against a makeshift Arsenal backline.
Pedro Neto is my preferred angle of focus, he came off the bench to score on Monday and will be expect to start here, he’s 5/1 for 2 shots on target which looks a generous price. I’m also going to have a small punt on a Same Game Multi: Neto 2 shots on target, Wolves over 4.5 corners and Wolves 15+ shots at 35/1, it landed Monday and I think it arguably has a greater chance of landing here as Arsenal have conceded 5 and 7 corners in their 2 matches since adopting a back 4, and Wolves have a habit of upping their game whenever they play a top 6 side. Finally I’m also going to plump for Neto to win the WhoScored man of the match at 16/1, he’s the only Wolves player to win it multiple times this season and its hard to see Wolves winning here without Neto being a key part of the performance.
