We've got another big fight in the Heavyweight division with a rematch between Britain's Derek Chisora and Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev. The two last fought back in 2016, but will it be repeat or revenge? We've asked our boxing head honcho @OddsT3rrier to preview this one and provide us with his best bets for the contest.

Well here it is, the rematch no one (bar Eddie Hearn) wanted to see! These two men faced off back in 2016, at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, in a European Heavyweight title fight that doubled up as a IBF eliminator. Chisora thought he won the fight but the majority of people saw it as a fairly comfortable win for Pulev, so it was a bit of a surprise when the judges announced a 118-110, 116-112, 113-115 split decision in favour of the Bulgarian. Want to watch it back and make your own decision? Be my guest...
One thing that is for sure is that this fight is likely to be unpredictable. Both men have form for being crazy in and around fight time. In the past we've seen Derek throwing tables and slapping opponents and Kubrat kissing female reporters against their wishes.
In the build up to this fight alone, we've seen Pulev pretending to eat and punch his mobile phone after calling up Chisora from the boxing gym, then, in a face to face with promoter Eddie Hearn, Chisora used some decidedly dodgy sexual analogies which I will leave for you to watch rather than describe!
Let's move onto the actual fight , shall we?
Eddie Hearn has promoted this fight as 'Total Carnage' and has constantly mentioned 'war' all week. Well I'm sorry to disappoint but I just don't see it happening that way. Quite often in these rematches, we get a carbon copy of the first fight and that's exactly what I'm expecting here. Pulev with his ramrod jab and grab style and Chisora throwing huge, crude overhand rights. The only real thing that Del Boy has in his favour is that Pulev is ageing and badly. The 41-year-old has only fought once since December 2020's loss to Anthony Joshua - a regulation points win over a limited Jerry Forrest back in May, but only two men have ever beaten him, AJ and Wladimir Klitschko.
Chisora, on the other hand, may 'only' be 38 but has been in decline for a long time now. He is 7-7 over his last 14 fights and has lost his last three straight. You could argue that every time he's stepped up to world level he's been found out and came up short. He still carries power and can hurt anyone if he lands but is extremely raw in technique at times and has questionable stamina to say the least.
The 4/9 on Pulev is short but I can't see Chisora winning this one.
My 2nd selection is for Pulev to win on points. The Cobra has a less than 50% KO ratio and that's come down significantly later in his career. He's only managed two knock out wins since 2013, against Maurice Harris and Bogdan Dinu. Chisora has only been stopped three times in his career, all to elite level fighters in David Haye, Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte.
I wouldn't stop anyone from jumping on the 6/5 on Pulev to win by decision on the night.
