Celtic vs Young Boys Prediction, Lineups and Odds: Two betting tips for tonight's clash

With kick-off fast approaching at 8pm, Celtic are preparing to host Swiss side Young Boys in a pivotal Champions League clash. The match, live on TNT Sports 3, is crucial for Brendan Rodgers’ side as they aim to progress beyond the group stage for the first time since 2008.
The fixture comes at an opportune moment for Celtic, who face a struggling Young Boys side currently sitting 9th in the Swiss league and bottom of their Champions League group with no points.

Celtic vs Young Boys Predictions
Celtic have a strange relationship with the Champions League. They were the first British side to win the competition back in 1967 when the "Lisbon Lions" defeated Inter Milan to lift the European Cup as it was called back then. However, in recent years they have been consistently poor in the competition and have not gotten past the group stages since 2008, often failing to even make it past the qualifying rounds some years.
This year, Celtic have their best opportunity in years to end their unwanted record of not getting past the group stages so you can expect Celtic Park to have an electric atmosphere on Wednesday night. On paper, this is a game Celtic should be winning and with the crowd behind them, I expect them to get over the line.
German winger Nicolas Kuhn has been in outstanding form this season scoring 16 goals in all competitions, including 2 goals in the Champions League against RB Leipzig. He has produced big moments for Celtic all season from last minute winners to a goal in the cup final against arch rivals Rangers. Celtic will be looking for someone to step up on Wednesday night and I am backing Kuhn to do so by coming up with a big goal for the Scottish champions.

For my second tip, I am backing Alistair Johnston to be booked.
The Canadian right-back is never afraid to put in a strong challenge, especially in high-stakes matches. Johnston’s tackling can be particularly aggressive in big home games, where he often attempts to raise the atmosphere of the crowd by putting in some strong challenges. However, this enthusiasm can sometimes lead to him ending up in the referee's notebook. Johnston has already been booked twice in the Champions League .
Johnston spoke to the media earlier this week where he described this clash as a "Cup Final" for Celtic. With emotions running high, I can see Johnston putting himself into one or two tackles worthy of a booking.
Celtic vs Young Boys Lineups
James Forrest is out for Celtic, while Young Boys are likely to be without Abdu Conte and former Hoops player Saidy Janko.
