Celtic vs. Lazio Betting Tips: Matt O'Riley priced big in the anytime goalscorer market

Celtic look for their first points in Group E of this season's Champions League when they entertain Lazio in Glasgow on Wednesday.
Celtic are riding the crest of a wave domestically. That League Cup second round exit aside, they're undefeated in their opening seven league matches having won six, are four points clear at the top of the table, beat neighbours Rangers in the Old Firm derby and have just seen Michael Beale sacked from his job across the city. In Europe, however, life got off to a difficult start with a 2-0 defeat in Rotterdam, with The Hoops suffering two second half red cards in the process.
Lazio, on the other hand, have sleepwalked their way through the start of the new Serie A campaign, registering just seven points from as many games and sitting in a lowly 16th place. They snatched a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid and have goalkeeper Ivan Provedel to thank, whose 95th-minute equaliser stole the headlines during Gameweek 1.
Celtic vs Lazio Tips
Given Lazio's troubles in Serie A, Celtic look too big of a price to ignore in the match result market. Pairing them to win with both teams to get on the scoresheet gives us a very healthy looking 9/2 with William Hill.
Brendan Rodgers' side have won six of their nine matches so far since the Northern Irishman took back charge at Celtic Park. And on the two occasions they've lost, there is a case of mitigating circumstances to be made.
Kilmarnock's 1-0 Scottish League Cup win is their second scalp of the season after defeating Rangers on the opening weekend, with Derek McInnes' team also pulling off draws against 2nd place St Mirren and 4th place Hearts this term.
As for the 2-0 defeat to Feyenoord, Celtic weren't embarrassed despite having two men sent off and had they kept it 11 vs 11 then matters could have been very different for the Scottish outfit.
The Celts have conceded in six of their nine matches this campaign, while BTTS has clicked in games against Juventus, Napoli and Atletico Madrid for Lazio.
In the goalscorer markets we were shocked to see Matt O'Riley as large as 6/1 to score at any time on Wednesday.
The English-Danish dual citizen has had a blistering start to the campaign, sitting pretty at the top of the Scottish Premiership goalscoring charts with five goals from 607 minutes of football.
Last season's provider has now turned converter having netted in his last two outings and boasting three goals from his last four matches.
As well as this, only Rangers striker Sam Lammers has let off more shots than the former Fulham academy product's tally of 23 in the SPL, with nobody hitting the target more (13).
Of course there is a noticeable increase in quality between Celtic's domestic opponents and the likes of Lazio, but in a home tie against a struggling side we're more than willing to take the huge price for a man full of confidence to score his first European goal.
