BTTS Tips: 18/1 Acca for opening EFL weekend

The Football League is back! After a grueling pre-season, normality resumes as the Championship, League One and League Two will be all over our screens this weekend.
We’ll be getting right back into the action and taking a look at the Both Teams To Score market for this weekend’s games.
Both teams to score tips
Blackburn vs West Brom
Blackburn will face West Brom in their opening Championship fixture of the 23/24 season. The home side come in as the slight underdogs for this one but history tells us this should be a game that features a lot of goals regardless of who the betting sites favour.
Last season when these two met, both teams scored in both of their meetings in the Championship: a 1-1 draw and a 2-1 win for Blackburn were the results for last season. If last season is anything to go off, BTTS should be a great bet.
Middlesbrough vs Millwall
Last season Middlesbrough were the best team in the Championship to back for both teams to score landing in their games and we’ll be backing it once again in their opening game against Millwall.
It’s tough to base these selections on stats with the new season just starting but in Millwall’s last away trip in the 22/23 season they scored three goals against Blackpool. With Middlesbrough being expected to score here, it could turn out to be a great match for both teams scoring.
Portsmouth vs Bristol Rovers
Last season Bristol Rovers had both teams scoring in 57% of their games which was the second best in League One. They’ll be playing Portsmouth who had BTTS in 52% of their games. More often than not both teams were on the scoresheet in their games last season which makes this a great bet for BTTS.
Grimsby vs Wimbledon
Grimsby will host Wimbledon in their League Two opener and it’s on our list for BTTS picks this weekend. Grimsby had 50% of their games finish with both teams scoring last season and Wimbledon had 52%.
These two have not played each other since 2003 where fans were treated to a 3-3 draw. We’ll be hoping for more of the same this weekend.
Carlisle vs Fleetwood
Finishing off our accumulator for the weekend is Carlisle vs Fleetwood. Fleetwood had 57% of their games last season finish with both teams finding the back of the net and against newly promoted Carlisle they shouldn’t have much of an issue scoring.
Carlisle have the home advantage here and should also be able to score past Fleetwood. Despite being newly promoted Carlisle come in as the favourites here but with Fleetwood having BTTS land in 13/23 away trips last season, it could be a solid bet to finish off our picks.
This leaves us with a 18.15/1 acca for this weekend’s fixtures. Good luck to everyone following along!
