Liverpool vs Bournemouth
First up is a Premier League clash between Bournemouth vs Liverpool. Here we’ve got two teams which had both teams to score land in their first game and we’re backing it to happen again in this one.
Liverpool have failed to sort a lot of their problems in the transfer window this season and with Klopp’s morale at an all-time low due to missing out on the transfers of Lavia and Caicedo, this one could get a little dicey for Liverpool. Bournemouth have turned up against the big teams in the past and with Liverpool’s defence looking a little suspect, this could very end to end.
Fulham vs Brentford
Another game in the Premier League and we’ve got Brentford and Fulham, two teams that performed very well last year and both scored a shed load of goals.
Last season both of their games in the Premier League finished 3-2 with both Fulham and Brentford both securing a win against each other. Given the style of these two teams and their ability in front of goal, I’m expecting plenty of goals.
Blackburn vs Hull
All of Blackburn’s games this season have had a serious amount of goals. A 2-2 draw, 4-3 win and 2-1 win make up their three games this season and with BTTS landing in all three of those, we’ll be backing BTTS in their game against Hull.
Hull have also been involved in some thrillers with a 4-2 win and two 2-1 losses. With the sheer amount of goals involved in the games for these two, BTTS looks like the perfect bet.
Leicester vs Cardiff
Leicester have had a great start to life in the Championship winning their first two games. BTTS landed in their first game against Coventry and if it wasn’t for a Dewsbury-Hall brace things would be looking a lot more bleak at Leicester. Leicester come in as the favourites for this one and shouldn’t have much of an issue scoring against Cardiff.
On the other hand, Cardiff are yet to secure a win in the Championship despite scoring three goals in two games. BTTS has landed in both of their games and it’s clear they know where the back of the net is. With Leicester being pretty much nailed on to get a goal, I think Cardiff’s attacking prowess can make this game quite competitive.
Cambridge vs Bristol Rovers
Bristol Rovers are looking like the team to back for BTTS at the moment with their first three games of League One seeing the bet land. Their last two games of the 22/23 season also had BTTS land!
Cambridge have looked decent in the league so far with two wins out of three and in their one loss both teams to score landed. This should be a fairly even game and with both proving they can score, BTTS looks like a solid bet.
Stockport vs Barrow
Finishing off this week's picks is a trip down to League Two where we have Barrow vs Stockport. Barrow’s three games they’ve played this season in League Two have all had both teams scoring, and Stockport County have had the bet land in 2/3 of their games.
Stockport have had a rough start to the season and are in 22nd place with one point from three games. They’re the favourites for this one but with Barrow in second place, this one should be very end-to-end and I’m expecting a few goals in this one.
That finishes our picks for this weekend! We’re left with a 35/1 BTTS accumulator with BetUK and we wish those following along the best of luck!
