BTTS Tips: 9.26/1 acca for Saturday's action

An eventful opening Premier League weekend now means that all four tiers of English football are back!
Last Saturday's BTTS acca came agonisingly close, with only Nottingham Forest from the eight teams tipped failing to score and ultimately letting us down for a healthy 10/1 winner.
But in the immortal words of Steve Bruce during his reign as Aston Villa boss, "We dust ourselves off and go again!"
That's right: we're back for another Saturday 3pm helping of both teams to score goodness! This week's bet composes a handful of selections from the top two divisions in England and comes in at 9.26/1 with Bet365. As usual, it also benefits from the bookmaker's 10% Accumulator Bonus for including four legs.
BTTS Tips
Brighton vs Newcastle
Our first offering comes via one of two south-coast top flight sides as Brighton welcome Newcastle to the Amex.
Newcastle did the business against Nottingham Forest on their first return to the Premier League this decade, notching twice and causing the visitor's to barely lay a glove on them with a very convincing performance.
Elsewhere, Brighton also opened their account for the season with a historic first win at Old Trafford where both teams to score landed as they turned over Erik ten Hag's side 2-1. This now puts the Seasiders on a three-game stretch in the BTTS department, harking back to last season's final two matches.
Since Eddie Howe took charge, 44% of the Toon Army's matches have seen a winner on the BTTS front. It's also worth mentioning that 3/4 of those most recent successes have come on their travels.
Graham Potter's side can and will put the Newcastle defence under a lot more scrutiny than last weekend's opponents managed, so expect a repeat of the 21/22 meetings between these two when both teams found themselves on the scoresheet.
Wolves vs Fulham
Molineux is our next stop on the map where both Wolves and Fulham will be seeking their first three points of the new season over in the Midlands.
Marco Silva's men seriously impressed in their initial outing against last season's runners-up Liverpool in last Saturday's lunchtime kick-off. It'll be interesting to see how they approach facing a more evenly-matched opponent, but the signs were extremely positive for the Cottagers going forward, and also displayed some defensive frailties which is exactly what we want to see when it comes BTTS.
Wolves were backed and delivered as part of last week's Saturday both teams to score acca and were unfortunate not to come away with anything over in Yorkshire. While goes were hard to come by last campaign under Bruno Lage, the return of Pedro Neto from a long-term injury, as well as the potential for Daniel Podence to kickstart his Wolves career following an opening day goal, does display signs of improvement in this area; even in the absence of Raul Jimenez.
Huddersfield vs Stoke
Danny Schofield will already be feeling the heat having taken over from the departed Carlos Corberan and losing all three of his opening matches across two different competitions with the Terriers. But the visit of Stoke could offer some hope for them to get points on the board.
This one involves two fairly loose teams, both in and out of possession, which is music to the ears of us BTTS punters. Huddersfield have shipped seven goals with their former boss' understudy at the helm, and supporters will highlight many damning signs in those performances.
Stoke, on the other hand, have made a real difficulty out of scoring so far this season, still waiting to register a single Championship goal from their two outings, and falling to defeat in the League Cup to lower-league Morecambe on penalties after a goalless 90 minutes.
Before this dry start, Stoke were on an away run of BTTS landing in 10 of their last 11 all the way back to the end of January. And if you want to get things back on track, facing Huddersfield sure seems to be your best bet at this moment in time.
Wigan vs Bristol City
It wouldn't be a both teams to score accumulator without the inclusion of our favourite team: Bristol City. They make the trip up north to newly promoted Wigan Athletic at 3pm, and we're fancying the BTTS train to keep on rolling for Nigel Pearson's team.
The Robins are great value for numbers at each end whenever they take to the field. City bounced back from a close 3-2 defeat by Sunderland with a midweek 4-1 mauling over Coventry on Wednesday. Both results come on the back of a 2-1 opening day loss to Hull and if you can't see the pattern now, then let us reiterate that Bristol City were the highest Championship scorers outside of the division's top six last campaign.
Latics have so far secured two points from as many league outings since their return to the English second tier. Although BTTS may only have landed in 1/3 of their games this term, dig deeper and you get more of the bigger picture. There were a combined 30 shots let off in their 0-0 draw with Preston, so the fact that not a single goal was scored in that game is a definite outlier in the stats.
Leam Richardson and co saw a split 60.9% BTTS accuracy across the board, whether that be at home, away or in general during their 21/22 triumphant promotion from League One. The champions netted 82 times and shipped 44 goals across the 46-game season suggesting that they, like Saturday's counterparts, have just as much to offer in front of their own goal as they do the opposition's given the increase in quality that the Championship poses.
