BTTS Tips: Four fixtures across the football league where we're expecting goals

Saturday at 3pm is the time most punters look forward to all week and luckily for you all, we’ve taken a look at the BTTS markets for this Saturday’s 3pm kick-offs. We’ll take one selection from all four of the football leagues and combine them into a four-fold accumulator. Starting things off with the Premier League.
Both Teams To Score Tips
- Arsenal vs Brentford BTTS
- Sheffield United vs Swansea BTTS
- Charlton vs Fleetwood BTTS
- Mansfield vs Gillingham BTTS
Arsenal vs Brentford
Starting things off with a big game for Arsenal where they host Brentford at the Emirates. The bookmakers are pricing it up at EVS for both teams to score in this one and we’re all over it.
When it comes to BTTS at home, Arsenal have the best percentage in the Premier League, to be more specific, seven of their nine games at home in the league have seen both teams score. To add to that, Brentford have also had BTTS land in six out of their 10 away games, so I think it’s safe to say that there should be goals in this one.
Arsenal come into this one as big favourites and rightfully so, but Brentford are flying at the moment and have only suffered defeat once in their last 10 games. They’ve also scored six goals over their last four away trips, two of those being against Manchester City! So it’s clear to see Brentford are more than capable of troubling Arsenal in this one, and this starts off our BTTS acca.
Sheff Utd vs Swansea
Sheffield United are loving life in the Championship at the moment and whilst they may not be in 1st place, they’re 10 points clear of Middlesbrough in second and are looking to cruise towards Premier League promotion.
They host Swansea on Saturday, a team that more often than not finds the back of the net on the road. Swansea are boasting the highest percentage of games finishing with BTTS when it comes to away fixtures in the Championship with 73% of their away trips having both teams score.
Sheff Utd are the favourites for this but Swansea have only failed to score on the road three times this season and they can definitely test the 2nd place team who have had BTTS land in three of their last five games.
Charlton vs Fleetwood
Charlton will be hoping to build on their impressive form as of late with another win over Fleetwood on Saturday. Charlton are turning their season round as of late with four wins in their last five games in League One and they come in as the favourites against Fleetwood.
Though Charlton’s form has been impressive, they do still leak goals. In their last five games, they’ve had BTTS land in four of them, the only one where it didn’t land was a 2-0 win over Barnsley. Charlton are still boasting the best BTTS rate in the Championship with 68% of their games finishing with both teams scoring.
Fleetwood are also really solid when it comes to BTTS despite their position in the table. They’ve had 71% of their away games finish with both teams on the scoresheet and with Charlton’s suspect defensive record, they could be right up for this one.
Mansfield vs Gillingham
Normally when it comes to goals, Gillingham are on the wrong end of them and a very rough start to the season sees them in 23rd place. However, Gillingham are currently unbeaten in four games and it’s easily their best bit of form this season.
Both these teams are in similar form which is crazy to say given the difference in league positions but you could argue that Gillingham is the better team at the moment. Mansfield have only won two of their last eight games and Gillingham will know that they’re vulnerable coming into this one.
Mansfield are the current kings of the BTTS market for the championship where 18/28 of their games have finished with both teams scoring. With this being a relatively close one in terms of form, we’ll be backing BTTS for this one.
And that finishes our BTTS tips for Saturday! Adding the four tips together leaves us with a 10.79/1 accumulator with William Hill that can be boosted to 11.99/1 with their acca freedom offer!
William Hill's Acca Freedom allows you to either boost your accumulator or insure your 5+ fold accumulators. If you pick the insurance route you can expect your stake back if one selection lets your accumulator down, if you go for the boost, you'll see your potential returns receive a small boost meaning a bit of extra cash in your pocket if it wins.
