Bristol City vs. Man City Betting Tips: Two bets for FA Cup fifth round tie

Bristol City welcome Manchester City to Ashton Gate in the FA Cup fifth round on Tuesday evening, with tipster Jimmy The Punt previewing the tie and picking out his best bets.
It is as good a time as any for the Robins to pit their wits against the Premier League champions.
Nigel Pearson’s side have remained unbeaten since Boxing Day: that's 12 games, six victories, and as many draws.
It is difficult to pick a stand out performer from that period with so many players raising their levels. Nahki Wells, Sam Bell, Mark Sykes, and Alex Scott have all been amongst the goals, the latter two’s performances have really caught the eye though.
Sykes has bagged four goals in his last six starts, settling in a more advanced position on the Robins's right.
Scott is perhaps the hottest prospect in the Championship. Starting all bar one of his side's league games, the young midfielder is a blend of guile, grit, and finesse. Courted by some of the top sides in England, you would imagine the youngster will be keen to test his credentials against some of the best players in the land.
Scott is expected to start in the number ten, with Wells ahead of him, Sykes on the right and Bell on the left.
The hosts have made a habit of reaching this stage of the competition: this will be the fifth time they have managed it in the last five seasons.
However, they have not made it to the quarters since 1974 and at around 12/1 tomorrow evening, the bookies do not expect them to buck this trend either.
Pep Guardiola’s reign at City has only seen one FA Cup triumph, compared to the four domestic titles, four League Cups, and two Community Shields. His side have been dumped out of this competition in the semi-finals for the past three seasons.
Bristol City vs Man City Tips
En route to this match-up in the southwest, the Citizens have had to see off Chelsea and title rivals Arsenal, doing so without shipping a single goal.
I fancy both teams to find the net here though and will be siding with an away win and both teams to score at 17/10 with 10Bet
Pep’s City tenure has been littered with duels to lower league opposition. They were pipped to the trophy by Championship side Wigan at Wembley.
This was one of 27 clashes against lower league opponents, 48% of those games have seen this bet click and 62% of their last 13 match-ups with lower league opposition.
Fancying both teams to be amongst the goals, I may as well tout one of the host's attackers to bag, at chunky odds as well.
At 9/1, Alex Scott is the pick.
Not that he is unfamiliar to this role but Scott has started the last six games in a more advanced position having five shots and registering six key passes.
His only goal of the campaign came in this competition. Domestically he is yet to find the net but has generated an xG of 1.16.
Best of luck if you are backing any of these selections and please remember to gamble responsibly.
