Brighton vs. Crystal Palace Betting Tips: Side with Solly in the fouls market

Besides Champions League action there are also two games taking place in the Premier League on Wednesday evening. Brighton face Crystal Palace on the South Coast and we’ve tasked Anthony Eadson to provide us with two bets for the game.
Brighton can go level with Liverpool in sixth place on 42 points should they pick up the win against Palace in this M23 derby. Roberto De Zerbi’s men managed a 2-2 draw in their most recent outing and will be aware that they have not beaten Palace in seven league outings heading into this one.
After their 1-0 defeat to Manchester City last weekend, Crystal Palace became the first team on record to fail to register a shot on target in three consecutive Premier League games. The Eagles have now gone 10 league matches without a win and need to start picking up points quickly as they are now just three above the drop zone.
Brighton vs Crystal Palace Tips
It may not be the most famous and vicious of English derbies but Brighton against Crystal Palace will hopefully have a bit of niggle. Our first selection is for Solly March to commit 2+ fouls in the game which is available at Even money (2.0), with either Betfair or Paddy Power.
March has been one of the stand out performers for Brighton this season and taking a look back at his foul figures over the course of the campaign, he averages 1.9 per game in home matches. In seven of his last eight at The Amex Stadium, this bet has landed and with the same offering on show at just 8/13 with Skybet, we think this looks a very backable price.
We’ve also had a bit of loose change on Kaoru Mitoma to score and Alexis Mac Allister to be carded at 15/1 with Unibet. Mitoma has scored in six of his last 11 matches and with that in mind, 5/2 looks too big a price against a struggling Crystal Palace side.
It is surely only a matter of time until World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister makes a big money move to another club, but we are backing him for a card here. The midfielder has been booked in 40% of his home league matches this season and can hopefully make it five on Wednesday.
