Bournemouth vs. Liverpool Betting Tips: Back Klopp's side after their magnificent seven

Liverpool will be looking to continue their charge towards the top four when they travel to Bournemouth this weekend and we’ve got the data guru Scott Thornton on hand with his two best bets.
Klopp’s side were hunting down four pieces of silverware at this stage last season but they are all but out of every competition this season. A strong finish to the season could see them secure a much needed Champions League spot for next season and aid the manager in rebuilding certain areas of the squad in the summer. Liverpool will be full of confidence after hammering Manchester United in their last game. They also put Bournemouth to the sword when these sides met earlier in the season.
The Cherries took a shock 2-0 lead at the Emirates last weekend before losing the game in the dying moments. The defeat would have been a killer blow for a side that needs all the points they can get. Bournemouth are at the bottom of the pile in terms of the Premier League. Things are very congested at the bottom and a couple of good results could see any one of the sides rise above the pack.
Brooks, Stanislas and Vina are all ruled out for the home side. Liverpool will be without Diaz and Thiago but they have plenty of talent available for this one.
Bournemouth vs Liverpool Tips
Liverpool have won their last three visits to this ground 3-0, 4-0 and 4-0 (starting with the most recent). Klopp’s side are short in terms of price for this one but I expected them to be even shorter. Their forward line will have their tails up after all of them got on the scoresheet last weekend.
Liverpool have scored two goals or more in four of their last five Premier League games. Although they have been off the pace this season, they are still averaging 1.88 goals per game. It seems as though Klopp may have found the balance in his attack and they should be rampant on Saturday.
The Cherries have won just three of their home games in the league this season. Those wins came against Leicester, Aston Villa and Everton. Despite the poor form, they aren’t conceding a boat load of goals in front of their own fans. They are conceding an average of 1.33 goals per game at the Vitality. However, this changes when they take on the bigger sides in the league.
Bournemouth have played eight matches against the so-called ‘big-six’ this season and they have conceded 31 goals in those matches; an average of 3.88 goals per game. They have scored just five goals in reply.
For the longer odds bet, we are going to add Liverpool to win both halves to the bet builder. The Reds have won both halves in their last three visits to this stadium and they should make a fast start this weekend. Bournemouth will have to come out and chase the game at some point if they fall behind early on and the visitors have the quality to pick them off on the counter.
For this bet, we are going to add Liverpool to score three goals instead of overall match goals. Liverpool are favourites and have shown they are capable of hurting their opponents here.
Finally, we are betting over five corners for the visitors. Bournemouth’s opponents are averaging 7.32 corners per game in the Premier League this season. That figure drops to 6.33 when they are the hosts but it is still above the required mark for this bet to land.
