Bournemouth vs. Arsenal Betting Tips: Gunners to make it three from three on the south coast

Bournemouth vs Arsenal Odds
Saturday evening Arsenal travel down to the south coast to the Vitality Stadium where they face Bournemouth in round three of the Premier League.
Scott Parker will be delighted to already have three points on the board at this early stage, picking up all three points in a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa, before being brought back to reality with a 4-0 loss at the hands of a rampant Manchester City side last weekend. Things don’t get much easier though as they now take on an Arsenal side who look full of confidence and drive, winning both of their fixtures so far by a two goal margin.
Dominic Solanke could play a part on Saturday, with a late call to be made by Scott Parker after he missed out last weekend due to a foot injury. Both Ryan Fredericks and Joe Rothwell who were signed by Parker in the summer, will remain absent for the Cherries also due to injury. Jordan Zemura will be available after recovering from COVID-19 and should slot back into the Bournemouth XI replacing Jack Stacey at left wing-back.
Arteta will be delighted with the way his team have started the season, a complete contrast to that of last season, where they lost all of their three opening games without scoring. Now on track to do the complete opposite, achieving a maximum nine points in their first three looks likely if they can repeat the performances from the previous two weekends.
Jesus has been incredible under Arteta, relishing his return to a centre-forward role and being the main man. Two goals and two assists in his first two games keeps his pre-season form going, exactly what Arsenal were missing for the majority of last season. Tomiyasu remains sidelined which means Ben White is likely to slot in again at right-back, with changes to the starting XI unlikely.
Bournemouth possible starting lineup:
Travers; Lerma, Senesi, Kelly; Smith, Cook, Billing, Zemura; Tavernier, Moore, Solanke
Arsenal possible starting lineup:
Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Thomas, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Jesus
Bournemouth vs Arsenal Tips
- Arsenal win, Jesus to score or assist – Betfair/Paddy #OddsOnThat Requests – 11/10 (1.5u)
- Arsenal win, Arsenal most corners each half, Arsenal most shots on target each half – Betfair/Paddy #OddsOnThat Featured – 13/2 (0.5u)
Arsenal head into this game heavy favourites and rightly so, priced around the 2/5 (71%) mark which leaves little value in the price.
Combining this with their main man to have an impact on the game yet again looks a great way to get the Gunners on side here at a price of 11/10. Arsenal have now won both games this season by two goals (2-0 and 4-2) and continuing that trend should see Jesus be amongst the goals or assists.
Jesus didn’t find the net in the opener, but two goals and two assists, most recently in an incredible performance, if Arsenal go on to win here, it's highly likely the Brazilian will play a part in finding the back of the net.
A bet that came incredibly close on both of Arsenal's games this season, landing last time out, looks a generous price here against weaker opposition.
In their opener against Palace, Arsenal won the match, registered the most corners and shots on target in the first half, registered the most second half corners also but failed to hit the target meaning this selection would have fallen just short. In their most recent match against Leicester however, it won with relative ease, with the total corners finishing 6-2 and the shots on target 7-2 in a 4-2 victory.
To repeat this against a team who are yet to prove their worth in the Premier League looks great value at 13/2, with City landing this selection comfortably last week only conceding one corner and one shot on target in ninety minutes, i'll be backing Arsenal to follow suit in a game they’re expected to dominate.
