Birmingham v Derby Prediction: Stalemate on the cards at St. Andrew's

Derby make the short journey across the Midlands for this evening's Championship curtain raiser at St. Andrew's. Both teams have endured mix starts to their campaigns, with Birmingham sitting pretty on the cusp of the playoffs in eighth and Derby doing better than many predicted in 15th after 5 games.
Below, I've picked out three tips for the game, which kick's off at 19:45 and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Birmingham v Derby Tips
Tahith Chong has settled in well in the start to his Birmingham career and after 5 games in the league he leads the squad in shots per game with 2.3 but has yet to find the back of the net. I don’t see this being a high scoring game but do feel both sides will get chances. If he has his shooting boots on this could be a steal.
There is no doubt in the ability of Ravel Morrison and he would have come through the same academy as Chong at Manchester United. He has played the most minutes for any Derby player not in defence and leads the team in shots per game with 2.5. I never expect to see a player leading the stats to be such a price so I have to add this bet in.
A risky call here but again trying to play to the form. Birmingham haven’t scored a goal in 3 home games, Derby are unbeaten in the last 8 trips to St Andrew’s but have only won once in their last 12 away games. Add that all together and what do we get…a 0-0 bore draw? Let’s see.
