Betting Stories: Punter wins £6,000 from £12 on Day One of Cheltenham

It was the perfect start for one lucky punter at this year's Cheltenham Festival, as they scooped a mammoth £6,064 from a £12 stake on Day One.
The punter in question placed a 5p each-way Super Heinz on his seven horses, which is a bet combines that combines seven selections into 120 individual bets. It consists of 21 doubles, 35 trebles, 35 four-folds, 21 five-folds, 7 six-folds and a seven-fold accumulator.
He backed seven selections in total - one of which was a non-runner and therefore voided - with each leg priced at odds of 22/1 or greater.
For Pleasure (40/1) kicked things off in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle, finishing third as strong favourite Appreciate It romped to victory and Ballyadam (6/1) came second.
Onto the Arkle Chase and it was Eldorado Allen, the biggest priced selection in the acca, who did the business at 50/1, placing second behind odds-on favourite Shishkin who, like Appreciate It, made light work of the field as expected.
The Ultima Handicap Chase at 2:30 threw up the first surprise of the day as Vintage Clouds beat 10/3 favourite HappyGoLucky to win at 28/1.
This was proceeded by another huge-price place as Aspire Tower finished fourth and placed in the Champion Hurdle at 33/1, before Sage Advice scraped a sixth-place finish in the Juvenile's Handicap Hurdle to see this astonishing bet over the line!
The only horse which didn't manage to place was Indefatigable in the Mares Hurdle, but due to the nature of the bet it didn't matter; what a start to the Festival!
