Betting Stories: Punter correctly predicts every result in the Premier League

One lucky punter landed a huge bet win after correctly predicting every result in the Premier League this weekend.
The anonymous Ladbrokes customer staked £2 on a sensational nine-fold which returned them a whopping £5,822, correctly calling three draws in Newcastle v Wolves; Crystal Palace v Fulham and Chelsea v Manchester United.
Alongside this, the mystery bettor also included basement-dwellers West Brom to beat Brighton at odds of 16/5, which they did 1-0, but the game could have easily gone in a different direction had the Seagulls not missed TWO penalties or had a goal chalked off by referee Lee Mason, who disallowed Lewis Dunk's quickly-taken free-kick at the Hawthorns. Sometimes luck's just on your side!
With everything in until Liverpool's clash against rock-bottom Sheffield United on Sunday night, all the punter needed was Jurgen Klopp's side to do the business at Bramall Lane but after a goalless first half the nerves would have been jangling somewhat.
That was until Curtis Jones opened the scoring three minutes after the restart, and a Kean Bryan own goal just after the hour mark settled things for the Reds in South Yorkshire, landing this fortunate bettor a huge sum of money from such a small stake. Well played!
Ladbrokes spokesperson Alex Apati said:
"Hats off to our plucky punter who somehow managed to correctly guess the result of every Prem game this weekend."
He added:
"Brighton missed two penalties and had a controversial goal disallowed, while Man United may have felt hard done by having not been given a penalty - not that our punter minds one bit!"
