Aston Villa vs Manchester United Odds: Back the visitors in the shots market

Saturday evening with a 17:30 kick off live on Sky Sports, Manchester United travel to Villa Park where they take on Aston Villa for the second time In the space of five days.
Villa will be disappointed to have lost 1-0 on Monday at Old Trafford after a solid performance with lots of positives to take from the game. The main focus now for Gerrard is the Premier League and he will be looking to take points from Man United here. Villa have improved already under Gerrard and have managed four wins in eight Premier League games, with losses to Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea along the way.
Clear unrest in the Man Utd camp has led to some average performances of late, however Ralph Rangnicks men have still only tasted defeat once since his arrival. Their 1-0 defeat in their last Premier League match to Wolves was extremely poor, with the visitors registering more than double the attempts of the Red Devils. Man Utd only managed two shots on target the entire match, the lowest since Ralph took the wheel.
Aston Villa possible starting lineup:
Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Mings, Digne; Ramsey, Luiz, Sanson; Buendia, Watkins, Coutinho
Manchester United possible starting lineup:
De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Telles; Fred, Matic; Greenwood, Fernandes; Ronaldo, Cavani
Aston Villa vs Man Utd Tips
Only five days apart and we get to see Manchester United take on Aston Villa yet again, giving us a good guide to how the match could play out. Manchester United were rather poor on Monday, many will say Aston Villa dominated (they definitely did in spells), but the Reds still managed 54% possession and ten shots on target in the ninety minutes at Old Trafford, despite being in front within eight minutes from Scott McTominays header.
Taking over twelve shots here looks a value selection Saturday evening based on United's shot totals of late. Five days ago as previously mentioned they registered ten shots on target, with nineteen shots in total, clearing this line comfortably. The teams should line up in a similar fashion here, except with the potential reintroduction of Cristiano Ronaldo to the starting XI which should only be a benefit when backing United shots. This line has also been cleared in five of their last six Premier League matches, falling short with nine in a very poor performance against Wolves.
A combination of selections here that I like the look of which make a 3/1 bet builder. Man United have been getting a large amount of goal kicks of late, with Villa forcing a whopping thirteen on Monday night. Man United have also taken thirteen against Wolves, eight against Burnley and seven against Newcastle in their last four fixtures.
Since Danny Ings has returned to the starting XI under Gerrard’s reign, Villa have managed two or more offsides in all three matches, registering three on Monday night, Ings picking up two alone. Offsides against Manchester United have also been quite high lately, seeing twelve offsides against in their last four matches.
The final part of the builder is over two cards. David Coote takes the whistle here and has given over two cards in 78% of matches, 37 of his last 47 have seen this line cleared. Monday night saw four cards dished out and I expect something similar here. This line has been cleared in all of Villa's last four matches, and three of United's last four.
