Arsenal vs Man United Predictions
The two most successful teams in this competition lock horns in a mouth-watering cup contest with the Gunners having lifted this coveted trophy an unrivalled 14 times, while Manchester United have won this competition 13 times.
Mikel Arteta’s men currently sit second in the Premier League table with 40 points, six behind the league-leaders Liverpool. After a 13-game unbeaten run in all competitions, they were finally beaten 2-0 at home by Newcastle in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semifinal.
With their star man Bukayo Saka out injured for an extended period of time, the Gunners have struggled in the attacking third of the pitch in their last two games, scoring just one goal and failing to win both games against Brighton and Newcastle.
As for Manchester United, they were on a four game losing streak before turning up to the Anfield and producing one of their best performances of the season which helped them earn a valuable point. They almost ran away with all three points but Harry Maguire missed a golden chance right at the end in what was a spirited display by Ruben Amorim’s men.
Considering their position in the league table (13th), the FA Cup presents a huge opportunity for Manchester United as it not only brings silverware, but also qualification for Europe, so United will be expected to field their strongest possible eleven against an Arsenal side who have already played a midweek game.
Arsenal have been dominant in this fixture in recent seasons, having won each of their last four head-to-head meetings against United, but with Saka absent, Arsenal have not looked as lethal going forward, and if United can repeat last week’s performance, we could be in for a highly entertaining cup clash.
Diogo Dalot has been playing further forward on the left as a wing-back for Manchester United under Ruben Amorim and this has seen his shot numbers increase as he is averaging around 1.57 shots per game in his last seven games under the new manager.
He is bombing forward and joining the attacks for United and was very impressive in this role last week against Liverpool where he attempted two shots.
He also attempted two shots against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium playing in this position and for him to be 4/5 to get just one shot looks great value so we will take it with a 1pt stake as our main bet for this game.

Manchester United have conceded four headed goals in just their last five league games, showing how vulnerable they have been in the air.
They conceded both their goals from set pieces when they visited the Emirates Stadium recently and Gabriel Magalhaes is Arsenal’s biggest threat from set pieces.
He has already scored four goals in all competitions this season and considering how lethal Arsenal are from set pieces, 17/2 looks a huge price for Gabriel to hit the back of the net.
Best of luck if you follow these selections. Please always gamble responsibly.
