Arsenal vs Liverpool Bet Builder Tips
It's impossible to ignore the performances of Diogo Jota at the moment. Since Boxing Day, the winger has scored four goals in four Premier League games, playing a pivotal part in his side's accumulation of 12 points during this period which, prior to this weekend's matches, have fired the Reds five points clear of Man City and Arsenal.
Despite only playing 16 league games so far this season, Jota has already accrued more top-flight goals (8) than any Arsenal player, while only Mo Salah has more on the board in the Liverpool ranks.
Jota has registered a shot on target in eight of his last 11 league games and, on current form, looks like the ideal player to kick-off our Bet Builder with over 0.5 shots on target this Sunday.
I'm also looking for the Arsenal duo of Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka to clear this line. Both players scored in the mid-week 2-1 win over Crystal Palace, which saw the Gunners make it back-to-back victories following a three game winless streak.
Saka has now scored twice in his last three games and pertinently to this bet, he's had at least one shot on target in seven of his last nine.
As for Jesus, he's fired out three or more shots in five of his last six games, and has had a shot on target in eight of his last 10.
Now, we move back over to Liverpool, where we're tasking the mercurial Darwin Nunez to have over 2.5 shots and be carded.
No player has unleashed more shots in the Premier League this season than Nunez, who is averaging 3.42 per game, and has 22 in his last three games alone. The forward remarkably had 11 shots during the mid-week 4-1 thrashing of Chelsea, yet still couldn't find the back of the net, in a game in which he broke the Premier League woodwork record (four times!).
Nunez has also had his fair share of bookings this season, receiving more yellow cards (6) than any Liverpool or Arsenal player, four of which have come in his last 10 games.
To round things off we're looking for both teams to find the back of the net - the last three league games have been 1-1 and 2-2 draws, plus a 3-2 win for Arsenal - which propels our Bet Builder up to 50/1.
