Andorra vs England Prediction
Andorra vs England Preview
It has been a perfect start for the Three Lions under new manager Thomas Tuchel, as they’ve won both their games against Latvia and Albania without conceding a goal and they will be looking to continue their win streak against bottom of the group side Andorra who have lost both their Qualifying games without scoring a goal.
There is a huge gulf in class of these two teams, as they’ve gone up against each other six times and England have won five of them by a margin of three goals or more, and one by a margin of two goals. Andorra have also failed to score in all six of those games and we could be in for another one-sided affair when these two sides go head to head this weekend.
England are also in brilliant form, boasting five wins on the spin in all competitions having scored at least two goals in all five games and have overall scored in their last 12 games in all competitions. As for Andorra, they have won just one of their last 25 competitive fixtures, with the win coming against a poor San Marino side back in October. It is a monumental task for the Andorra players as they will look to minimise the damage by conceding as few goals as possible.
Andorra vs England Tips
This should be a completely one sided affair, with England dominating the possession and chances from start to finish. The last three meetings between these two sides have finished 5-0, 4-0 and 6-0 in favour of England with the Three Lions scoring two, one and three goals in the first half and then three second half goals in all of those games, landing this bet in all three.
Andorra will look to frustrate England in the first half by defending deep but the players on the pitch for England have more than enough quality to breach Andorra’s defence inside the first 45 minutes. As for the second half, I expect the game to open up a little more as the Andorra players begin to tire as seen by their horrendous defensive record in the 2nd half.
As for corners, this should be a banker as I expect one way traffic in favour of England for the entire 90 minutes with crosses going in towards the Andorra penalty box, leading to a lot of English corners.
Harry Kane is England’s biggest attacking threat in the penalty box and possesses great aerial strength which helps him get a lot of headed shots on target.
Up against a lowly opposition in Andorra, he will get plenty of opportunities in the air with the likes of Reece James, Cole Palmer, and Bukayo Saka whipping in crosses into the box.
At 11/4, Kane looks good value to add another headed goal to his tally so I will take that as my second selection for this game.
