And this is just scratching the surface. 10bet offers exhaustive markets on thousands of events for football alone. Clicking through to each game uncovers a gold mine of potential predictions, with helpful infographics at the top of the screen granting valuable information on past games and head-to-heads. 

Generally speaking, I was impressed with the overall 10bet sports betting package. There are a few little niggles compared to other industry leaders like bet365, namely the unnecessary 8x wagering requirement on the welcome bonus, lack of live streaming, and underwhelming regular promos. Nevertheless, these deficiencies don’t distract from this being a superb bookies on the whole. 10bet offers new customers a 50% up to £50 deposit match welcome bonus, delivering a decent amount extra on top of your first payment. This contrasts the dominant trend for UK bookies to offer a certain amount of free bets after an initial wager. For example, bet365 offers £30 free after a £10 bet.

Whether you prefer a straightforward deposit match is largely down to personal preference, but 10bet does ultimately offer more bonus funds than most rivals, albeit at a greater initial expense.

Unfortunately, the operator sticks a steep 8x wagering requirement on the welcome promotion. In the current climate where many bookmakers refrain from any playthrough terms on their betting bonuses, it’s pretty unforgivable. As such, don’t expect to win any actual withdrawable money from the 10bet welcome bonus. It can, however, be a nice way to dabble in new betting markets without so much actual cash on the line. The 10bet ongoing promotions section is relatively sparse compared to high-performing bookies like BoyleSports and bet365. I didn’t even find any mention of relatively standard ongoing promos like Best Odds Guaranteed on horse racing, which is a shame. This is definitely an area where the operator must improve, but it isn’t all bad. 

For example, the up to £5,000 cash bonus on winning accas is quite exciting. 10bet adds a straight cash bonus between 5% and 100% that can significantly increase the potential payout. I wonder how often the bookies will opt for the full 100%, but it’s still a noteworthy incentive for acca fans. The operator also has regular betting promotions on specific events. At the time of writing, 10bet offered £5 cash if a new player scores during the opening Premier League weekend fixture between Chelsea and Liverpool. The only drawback was the requirement to spend over £50 on Premier League bets beforehand. 

I expected a little more from the 10bet welcome bonus and ongoing promotions considering the operator’s reputation. Hopefully, the bookies will rectify this going forwards, as it’s one of the only areas where other competing sports betting platforms pull clear.

Sports and Markets

10bet neatly shows all its sport categories on the left-hand side of the screen, with pretty much everything you could think of available. Coverage includes the standard options like football, horse racing, tennis and cricket alongside far more niche choices, including politics, TV entertainment, and Gaelic football. 

I was fairly impressed with the options, definitely putting 10bet above many smaller operators who cannot offer odds on rarer sports. However, the bookies still plays second fiddle to industry juggernauts like BoyleSports or bet365. These platforms offer things like speedway, beach volleyball, and netball, which aren’t currently available at 10bet. 

But there’s no messing about when it comes to the betting market depth for the sports 10bet does cover. For example, even a very obscure Bolivian basketball fixture between Pichincha de Potosi and Carl A-Z Oruro had several markets ranging from spread betting to individual quarter predictions. 

I was hugely impressed with the betting market coverage on 10bet’s most popular sports. The operator offers over 300 options on Premier League fixtures, with an exhaustive list featuring everything I was after and then some. 

This is also where the bookies' superior layout and visuals stand out. I could very quickly sift through the options with the “Match Result”, “Goals”, “1st/2nd Half Goals”, “Corners”, “Cards”, “Half Betting”, “Player Markets”, “Other Markets”, and “Specials'' categories for Manchester City’s opener against Burnley. To top things off, all selections I added to the betslip were neatly highlighted in green, making it easy to discern what I had and hadn’t predicted. Compared to bet365, which has an exhaustive yet busy layout regarding its betting markets, it’s a definite advantage.

Design and Usability

One thing you cannot fault 10bet on is its design, user experience, and overall aesthetic. The operator is award-winning in this sense, picking up the Fresh Award for branding and visuals in 2019. I can’t say I’m particularly surprised, as it’s top-notch.

Firstly, the logo and colour scheme is sleek, professional, and visually appealing. The layout is also uncluttered and fits numerous options in without being too busy or complicated. 10bet’s sports and other betting shortcuts are clearly signposted, making the website exceptionally easy to navigate. The same holds true on smaller smartphone or laptop screens, with the layout automatically altering to fit the new dimensions. 

Elsewhere, 10bet has one of my favourite bet slips I’ve seen throughout the industry. It seamlessly nestles into the right-hand side of the screen, with the no-frills approach split into “Singles”, “Multi”, and “System”. Adding and editing predictions as you go is very straightforward, allowing for more time exploring the betting options and less time faffing with a needlessly complicated bet slip. 

I particularly enjoyed that you can always see your current betslip additions without pressing any extra buttons. While it’s not the end of the world, betting at bookmakers like bet365 or 888sport can be slightly frustrating due to the added steps to see the betslip. I’m also giving 10bet extra points for the detailed infographics on most sporting events. The bookies offers extensive information leading into an event, helping you place better-informed wagers.

Payment Methods and Withdrawal Times

10bet has a brilliant selection of potential payment and withdrawal methods, covering everything from conventional debit cards to e-wallets and Open Banking via Trustly. Here is a complete list of deposit options:

The bookies matches other big players in the UK sports betting industry with its varied banking options. I found everything I needed, including rarer options like Trustly. 

It’s a similar story regarding withdrawals, with all options above available besides Paysafecard and Apple Pay. 10bet processing time is 1-2 days for most options, around the industry average. For me, the only thing missing is instant withdrawal support. Industry leaders like William Hill recently started offering instant withdrawals through Open Banking providers like TrueLayer, so 10bet falls behind the major players in this regard.

In-Play Betting Options

I was a big fan of the 10bet in-play betting options, with extensive options on the homepage. The bookies doesn’t just offer live betting on major sports or events. In fact, at the time of writing I could place live bets on things as niche as the Norway Under 19 football league. The homepage also offers helpful dropdown menus so you can search for in-play betting opportunities by sporting market. For example, I could choose from “Fulltime Result”, “Total Goals, and “Handicap”. 

10bet’s brilliant in-play betting design continues after you click through to a specific event. Most fixtures have dynamic animations showing match events in real time alongside constantly updated statistics and other vital pieces of information. I also enjoyed the same superb betting market layout, with everything neatly signposted and easily accessible. 

Cash-out and partial cash-out features are available on select markets, enabling you to take a smaller overall payout early if you think events might sway out of favour. These tools aren’t quite as powerful as on competing platforms like bet365, but they still do the job in most cases. 

Unfortunately, one glaring negative I experienced during my 10bet review process was the complete absence of live streaming. The bookies must fix this if it wants to mix with the biggest players. 

Bet Builder

Football betting is the 10bet bet builder’s main focus. I really enjoyed the straightforward design and streamlined process of adding markets. One slight downside was the fairly limited nature of the bet builder, with only the most generic markets available. For example, in the run-up to the Manchester City vs Burnley Premier League opener, I could add total goals and handicap markets, but when I tried adding Erling Haaland as a goalscorer it had to go through as a separate single wager.  

Industry leaders like bet365 still offer the gold standard in bet builders, but that isn’t taking away from 10bet’s feature. It’s arguably the most visually appealing design I’ve seen, I just wish there were slightly more betting market options. 

10bet Betting App

10bet offers iOS and Android mobile apps alongside the HTML5 website. The interfaces echo the brilliant website design, so you shouldn’t have any trouble navigating them if you’re already well-acquainted with the 10bet site. I generally enjoyed the 10bet mobile app experience, but the relatively poor user ratings on the App Store and Google Play marketplaces suggest a few teething problems. In any case, it’s better than many other bookies yet to launch an app. 

Customer Support

10bet has comprehensive customer support coverage, including a 24/7 live chat, email, and telephone services. I ran a few tests to examine the responsiveness and helpfulness of the agents and was impressed with the results.  

Responsible Gambling Features

I was happy to find a dedicated 10bet responsible gambling portal during my review process, showing the bookmaker’s serious attitude towards addiction. Punters can talk to the customer support operatives if they think they might have a problem or use a range of tools to help keep things in check. These include deposit limits, self timeouts, and a self exclusion tool. Additionally, I enjoyed the inclusion of the ‘Reality Check’ service, where 10bet displays a message on the screen at various intervals to keep you aware of your gambling time.   

Summary

I was happy with 10bet’s service for the most part. The bookies’ standout design and comprehensive betting market coverage definitely places it among the top operators in the UK betting industry. It also offers a native mobile app and some unique responsible gambling features like the ‘Reality Check’ tool.

There are some small drawbacks, most notably the lack of live streaming, wagering requirements on the welcome bonus, and limited regular promos. By and large, however, I can wholeheartedly recommend 10bet to various types of bettors.
