Steve McClaren is a former England manager who has had a varied career in the dugout, managing in his homeland, Germany, and Holland, to varying degrees of success. On July 31st 2024 he took on the role of head coach of the Jamaica National team on a two year contract.
Highlights include leading FC Twente to the Dutch title for the first time in the club's history and hoisted the League Cup with Middlesbrough. On the other side of the pendulum, McClaren infamously failed to lead England through to Euro 2008, while he endured disappointing spells in charge of the likes of Wolfsburg, Nottingham Forest, and Newcastle.
