Nick Daws was placed in charge of Scunthorpe United in January 2016, following the sacking of Mark robins, and after a stunning start in the dugout he was handed the job until the end of the season. However, he was sent packing early on the following campaign.
It’s the former Bury midfielder’s first spell as a manager and if impresses from now until May then there’s every chance that the appointment will be made permanent. Meanwhile, Daws has previously held coaching positions at Rotherham, QPR and the Iron.
