Bircham is an English-born Canadian and former player for Millwall and QPR, he started his managerial career as caretaker for QPR and over the years has been assistant manager at Millwall, Chicago Fire, and Arizona United. Most recently he was in charge of League of Ireland First Division team Waterford F.C. until his sacking in November 2021.
