John Still
John Still
Having had his playing career cut short by injury, John Still automatically turned to management and has been a stalwart of the Non League scene managing a plethora of semi-professional teams during his career.
A manager at Redbridge Forest, Still then took over the reins when Dagenham & Redbridge were formed, but then left to boss Peterborough United. However, it was his return to Victoria Road in 2004 that saw him sparkle as a manager.
Promotion from the Conference in 2006-2007 saw the Daggers venture into the Football League and three years later he bagged promotion up to League One as they went through the play-offs to play at their highest ever standard.
Still left for Luton Town in February 2013, but soon returned to Dagenham for a third spell after he was sacked in December 2015
